good artilce. Seems like after training all the lads are given lessons on how to give interviews in the same style as adkins. I was loving some of his choices of phrases such as "I remember on my first day through the door I was training with him and somebody told me he was only 16" or is he an adkins love child. I thought he was a far better player than Gobern. He is composed on the ball and has decent range of passing on him. I think he will get better as he develops and would be a decent player at championship level once he settles in.

Cue the brighton fans forum to go into a meltdown as they get thier knickers in a twist over our supposed arrogance yet again.

Yeah he has put in some decent crosses but they are always from a deep position. I prefer a fullback that has the pace and ability to get further forward beyond their full back or at least at put a cross in from further up the field which means the opposition defence have a harder job of defending the ball in. DB maybe a better defender but we are in league 1 its not as if we are coming up against giggs and ronaldo each week. Anyhow if i was boss Richardson would be first choice and those are my reasons. right or wrong is not really the question is it? just a case of a preference of ore attack minded team. The same reasons above are why I like Dickson at fullback on the left over Harding (but to be fair to Harding its a much tighter call as he is much better going forward.)

this +1 pace and decent going forward. he is a proper fullback that looks to over lap unlike DB who is stable and never ventures over the halfway line.

What is it with Brighton fans at the momen? Why cant they just enjoy thier moment without getting wrapped up in whaqt saints fans, players and management say or do. looking at thier forums they all seem to have this hang up about saints. It seems as though nearly every other thread is either - - *****ing about something adkins has said - *****ing about saints fans supposed arrogance - whining that they arent on TV enough / getting praised for the way they play / being so far clear - trying to convince themselves that they are a huge club get over yourselves and worry about your own team coz we dont give a shyte about brighton.

Brighton have no pressure / expectation on them to succeed. Thier players walk out on to the pitch with the freedom to perform. You watch Saints this season and you can see that the level of performance improves drastically once we score. Many a man crumbles under pressure and expectation. So it can be argued that other smaller teams are liekly to play with far more freedom.
