this is the key issue. we shift the ball from left to right constantly and always use every player along the back 4 in 5 yard passes. its too easy to defend and the transition needs to be sped up by cutting out a couple of the passes using a longer ball.
-
yeah lets drop all our players on international duty as they will all clearly below 100% avoiding injury. So that leaves us with 6 adults and most of the under 18s i guess. COYR

I dont agree at all. Many a person in my experience have suffered personal problems and wanted to keep on working to keep their mind busy. From Alcaraz's personal mental health perspective thats fine but that certainly doesn't mean he is in a position to give his best in the team. Martin would have made a call whether he is ready mentally or not and rather than drop him to the bench he has decided to keep him in and around the squad. Not sure the mental health of a player and his usefulness to the team is that black and white.

I thought Wilcox was in charge of all things football related now? What decisions other than Wilcox does he know make? Up to Wilcox most on here and twitter were wanking themselves stupid over Wilcox. Oh and Martin Out

be careful the idiots who run this site dont like this opinion. He should have been fired after 10 mins of the Leicester game.
-
ID have Nathan Jones back before id this prick back
-
exactly if he had played 7 games against Saints this year he would be on about 10 goals and leading scorer.
-
Id like to think he can see the flaws in the system and make appropriate changes rather than sit there thinking it will work with time and patience. Yes he wil get paid out but surely he is a professional and will want to be seen as a successful particularly if he want to take his career higher still.
-
Totally agree. I mad my mind up 15 minutes into Friday night that he was clueless and needs to go. The remainder of the game just added to the shit show. Its not the ability of the players its the set up thats flawed. He changes it and we have a chance tomorrow. I fear it is a hill he is prepared to die on so the sooner the better for me.

Sacking him the Morning after watching that unorganised mess is brave? brave would have been sacking him at half time. There is absolutely no point keeping him because he is wedded to his tactics and won’t change it. He thinks he can coach them to play his style but the problem. Is it’s flawed.
-
Pretty much all of them!
-
He has got to go. Couldn’t set up a deck chair let alone a defense
-
Are you suggesting Martin is lying and he has decided to play a player that was shit in training / friendlies or are you questioning our new managers judgement already? Ill be honest i cant think of any other credible reason he played him out of position last week

God help us. People now making cases for having aribo up front. You absolutely know that armada will get injured at Sunderland leaving us with only Tall Paul.

how many more seasons of this shyte will we have to wade through? schools back on Monday i guess
-
exactly this. everyone hanging off twitter posts as if they are even remotely accurate. sounds like games by club and agent to get a better deal.
-
oh my I laughed so hard on that one. Comedy these days

Thats a big assumption right there. its obvious someone other than Everton will come in with 48 hours of the window left and we will be left scrabbling around for an overpriced underwhelming replacement after all our targets have got bored of waiting for us to make our move.
-
Im not sure his goal scoring ability is in question, for me its more his touch and mobility that is lacking at this level.
-
Probably Swansea / player trying to push the process along and increase the price by trying show multiple interest. I would have thought Swansea know he is going to leave and want it done ASAP so they can focus on a replacement as the windows comes to a close.
-
I think you also need to factor in the possibility that he gets a long term injury whilst in the last year of his contract. For his own security its probably a wise move taking a new 3 year deal at improved wages. The thing is he has to get his head around is he is at club that has reasonable chance of going down. Bournemouth would be a better move for him. Personally i think the club are in a better place with regards identifying decent talent and letting him go isnt a big risk.
-
If we dont loosen the purse strings i fear we wont unless we sell him to a premier league team.
-
Adam’s is replaceable but the question is do we have the appetite to spend what is needed to adequately replace him. If the answer is yes the. It’s a no brainier to let him go.
-
exactly, I'm unsure how we coped with all their pace throughout the side.
