  1. Do you mean you are the only 2 left that are still trotting out this nonsense? The others thought it was funny for a few minutes but after months and months its a little tiresome. Its seems to be a similar gag to asking a small child to pull your finger and then farting in that it maybe funny the first couple of times but very quickly the adults in the room start rolling their eyes. No matter how many time you come back defending your banter most people are just rolling their eyes.
  2. of course people look to move up but that's not a good thing. hiring decent people in business isn't particularly difficult and there are graveyards full of people that thought they were indispensable. People leaving for better jobs show you have your hiring strategy right but you dont need people to leave to prove that. im just pointing out it isnt a good thing when people leave for better roles which was the original point. its costly and time consuming and can delay your path to success.
  3. nearly one in two marriages end in divorce so maybe more people than you think see their wife as a stepping stone. if you want to go back to it being a business decision why is it a good thing when Staff member leaves for a bigger company. in my experience its a pain in the arse that costs me money, time and effort to replace them. ive never once thought "oh at least it means im hiring decent staff and oh what joy there is in developing them for their next role."
  4. it really isnt. Thats like saying a better looking bloke has been shagging your wife and is inevitable but at least it shows your are punching.
  5. i missed your post on this but why would he have been there at his medical?
  6. ollie Watkins
  7. Yes the circle of trust must be so fulfilling
  8. What's with the shit haircuts these kids have these days? Anyway not that bothered if we was generational talent he would already be close to the first team and we would pay him a small fortune. He isnt so its a risk paying big money.
  9. Oh thats such as shame that you aren't able t share your information anymore. @mods can we now shut this thread as the OP has confirmed this will no longer be a source of truth?
  10. ITs not roclket science. Thats the team. Foden and Bellingham as 10s with 1 x DCM. Its not as if we are playing Brazil. Saints would have beaten both of those sides i reckon.
  11. Agree, i really like him. A bit of a gamble but fortune favours the brave as they say.
  12. wouldnt it be quite amusing if he then went on a beat the record against west ham?
  13. oh my this thread is still a dull as always. Not quoite sure why it remains on the main board particularly when the key contributor doesnt even bother going to games.
  14. leeds fan clearly
  15. Those who watch on TV or streams can watch from any location I would imagine. Turks credibility has taken a nose dive admitting his wife has booked a holiday over the play off weekend. I can imagine the pleading next weekend .. "please hunnybun would it be ok if i watch the saints game in the hotel room or do i need you need to come with you on the boat trip? My friends on interweb will be expecting me to comment on the match"
  16. He doesn't go to game to be fair.
  17. The issue will be Leeds fans buying tickets at Club Wembley in the southampton end. Leeds end sold out and saints still available. Seen an email from Club Wembley to a Leeds fan offering tickets at the saint end with a weak disclaimer at the end "We can only sell packages to fans of the team and checks may be made to ensure fans are not purchasing tickets in the opposite end." Notice the word "may"check.
  18. yes but not a key as Downes without an adequate replacement. the stats od games with / without Downes tends to confirm that as well.
  19. oh do fuck off. Thats jsut utter bollox isnt it. We beat them home and away easily and finished below them by three points with Downes injured for a significant amount of games. Now he is fit its clearly a straight shoot out.
  20. Just been watching the Road to Wembley on Netflix. The carnage in London and outside the ground was mental. The atmosphere inside the ground that built up throughout the day was electric.
  21. my ticket ordered at the start of the window arrived yesterday after the additional 2 that i ordered.
  22. better hear this at least twice on Friday FFS
  23. If you took the time to read my post nowhere did i say i expected him to give us a "deep dive" of his tactics for the game. My point was the fact they show the opening 3 minutes and then turn off the camera so we have to wait for a transcript or snippets / quotes from random jouno's. Why not broadcast the whole thing to the fans rather than pushing out only selected bits by the echo or waiting 14 hours for it to appear on YT? Just seems odd that fans cant watch the manager of their team talk about their team in the build up to a game. Maybe there is a reason for it but for the life of me I can think of one.
  24. What is the point in putting these on? We get to see about 3 minutes of it before it gets cut off and then if you want to pay an echo subscription you get to see a summary of it by a reporter. surely this medium is for the club to communicate with the fans. We still don’t know if Adam’s is fit or the injury status of the rest of the squad, Utterly pointless.
  25. Chat GPT or co-pilot is the way forward man.
