Mate , 100% they furloughed staff and have since unturned due to the backlash. Feel free to go back to your senior person for confirmation but my friend was actually told on that Friday.
-
It wasn’t ******** at all mate. The club have u turned and decided not to use the JRS. Not really a surprise after the backlash other clubs faced. Can only tell you what Happened as I personally know the person who was furloughed in the Friday.
-
No reason why it wouldn’t be true, my good friends wife works for the club. Club are topping up from 80 to 100% though.
-
Your understanding is wrong unfortunately. A friend I know (plus others) who works for saints were furloughed for an initial 3 weeks on Friday. To say I’m a more than a little disappointed at the clubs actions is an understatement.
-
Saints are furloughing a load if their staff as of yesterday I heard.

Agreed, with the debt we will need to take on to survive and the undoubted recession that will follow i suspect we will be feeling pain for 10 years at least. My focus is to keep my business breathing for the next 6 months and ensure i get out the other side. I dont need to lay anyone off yet but no doubt that will come. What makes that harder is there is nothing out there for people you do lay off. Tough times ahead. the pressure on business owners is immense and im feeling the pressure of ensuring my team of 12 have a job.

I think we will have 6 months plus before we are even remotely getting past it. Although in London its really quiet but outside people are largely ignoring the social distancing. As for stocking up for food im unsure why people are surprised. I loaded up on all the non perishable **** like rice, pasta and canned food back in the middle of February as it was blindingly obvious what was going to happen with the shops once the main stream accepted what was happening. As for my shares they were all sold @ end of January. Looks like it wont be long before i can stat to renter. Easy money.

On this occasion I agree with batman. The large proportion of the critical /seriously ill will be either over 70s or those with underlying health issues. Goes without saying that if the number can be reduced at any one time then more can be saved.

the chief medical office live on Tv said the reasonable worst case scenario is that 80% of people in the uk could be infected and 1% will die but hopefully it will be much lower. This guy isn’t media or a politician. When are people going to wake up and realise this is serious and isn’t just flu or scaremongering.

My wife did media studies at uni. Got a job in marketing on the back of it ans now earns £70k per year so I wouldn’t worry too much if the kid has brains and drive to compete in the world after uni. -
Thats true enough about a striker who hasnt scored in a decade. If we want Che to start scoring at SMS then we should loan him out to villa for the game this weekend. No doubt he would break his duck.
-
Don’t agree with this at all.
-
Terrible form. Really don’t be a ****

Brexit. We will get it done

Just re watched RH interview and he said it was good that it was only a cut because it would have been a ,assigned impact on our season
-
Did Ralph just say JWP only had a cut?
-
Agree with this, we are slowly clearing the dead wood. Saving a few million quid which ultimately can be used for new signings. Ralph is building a squad and the relative safety we find ourselves in allows us to clear a few early.
-
Thats true but he was slated after his loan deal at villa by their fans. i think the bertrand transfer turned out way better than many people (well certainly me) thought.

Agreed and when we do win you have paid your happiness tax
-
Space, this was the key difference IMO. First half we closed him down quickly and stopped him turning, second half he moved centrally and 2-3 times we gave him space on the ball to turn and run. It seemed to me we came out second half thinking the game was already won and didn’t show the same level of graft that has made us decent in recent games. Lets just hope it’s complacency that we learn from quickly.
-
To be fair my mate always bets against saints, he just calls it’s his happiness tax.

i watched that backheel a few times and couldnt work out whether it was or was deflection of the defender although Id give him the benefit of the doubt. Either way im happy to watch him grow into a premier league player over time.
