Id bring Edozie in for Aribo. Despite Aribo being one of the few players that can score in our side, his all round play is a bit shyte in my opinion. I cant make up my mind if he is lazy or just doesn't understand what is required from him without the ball. Seems to ball watch and fail to track his man and a liability away from home. He seems a bit of a luxury player in a side that needs to do the basics better and it surprises me not that no other Prem club was in for a player that was available for about £8m. On the other side of the coin he can be a match winner but 1 game in 5 or 6 isnt enough when he offers little in the other games. On a positive note I guess this post will guarantee a winning goal from Aribo against then cherries.

Romeo Lavia - Official: Signs for Not Liverpool
wild-saint replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Incredible really but with a fit Lavia playing every game and i think we have enough to stay up. The only caveat is that he maintains the quality that we have seen so far. Without him we look effing terrible and I'm just really glad we signed him. Without that injury i think its fair to say we would probably have at least another 4 points. -
I would rather we offered Ralph a new 5 year deal than offer the job to Steve fucking Bruce.
-
Good bloke but fucking shyte manager.
-
Yeah I can see it now, we sign a striker for £30m but doesn’t play him for 10 Games as he doesn’t know our system but then proceeds to play an 11 year old on loan from Chelsea in his first game.
-
any streams mine seem to have died?
-
I think you are right. The fact that Leeds were there with a plane to take him back this morning. We probably knew it was going pear shaped and coincides with the left winger from city being agreed before the news broke that he wasn’t coming.
-
You can imagine it now, city activate 4 x buy back clauses at 9pm on the 31st January leaving us with half a team.
-
Seems saints attitude to transfers / contracts etc has changed from relaxed to confident but with the same outcomes. as good as our transfers have been so far this summer, I fear that without the old up front being filled we are going to struggle for goals big time. Would have been the same feeling if we hadnt singed a decent centre back. I hope to god this is a negotiation tactic or we have decent alternative ready to go.
-
i would imagine the deal will be (if we ever agree) circa £25m up front cash with loads of other add ons that take it to £40m much like the Gibbs white deal. Cant think we would consider doing a deal at £40m cash up front.
-
Because they are marginally better than the shyte striker we have in our squad.
-
And validating his tedious comments shows you are also a twat. Oh and I wasn’t editing the duplication because it really makes no difference to the context of my post. If it’s so important why don’t you both piss off to a gramma forum or something? anyhow, looking forward to the game today despite knowing the chances of getting anything are poor. I hope to see some of the new blood and how they perform.
-
Why the need to be a such a twat, you obviously know what he meant?
-
im not really sure why people don't understand that young players are erratic. it also adds concert to our other signings that they may struggle for consistency particularly in their first year with us. i think our season will hinge on the last couple of players that we bring in otherwise it could be a struggle.
-
Why can we only spend £20m on his replacement? maybe the £20m can be added to whatever other budget we may have already. For what its worth id take £20m for che on the proviso there was enough money to attract a better striker. if not then id keep, surely thats the only decision to be made?
-
As much as I want you to be right, unfortunately the actual definition of the term “will” leaves you exposed to be MLGed for a technical inaccuracy.
-
They were talking about this in Talksport and argued (rightly) that if you are suggesting that you white will become Englands top ever scorer then you are wrong because you are clearly forgetting about David Clarke who has scored 126 goals for the England blind team. Made me chuckle.

Back in the early 80s we used to bring in experienced old heads that still had lots to offer (jimmy case etc). I know times have changed but is the game to fast for these types of players. Although technically OR could be classed as an old experienced heads

Its an interesting one really with RH. Yes, we have all been critical of some of his decisions but nearly everyone has agreed the squad last year was sub standard and many think its a championship squad hence the cries for significant investment etc. Whilst i have been massively frustrated at times with RH you cant have it both way surely, if the players are poor then can we really expect much more than staying up. This season I think we can be far more critical now he has had a decent budget to create the squad he wants. Time will tell i guess.

Why would it jeopardise the move? He was at a game watching football 🤷♂️?
-
or judging the side that is closer to our strongest 11. decent 2nd half. loving the look of aribo.
-
Ronald Koeman out former manager. Surely you remember him?
-
Yep I agree. I still think we will buy Broja.

Why do people despise people that are successful but turn a blind eye if they own their football club and are prepared to spend cash on players? Seems to me his parents had humble roots and worked for their success.
