To be fair he only needs to get us playing like that 6 times in the remaining games plus a couple of plucky draws and we are safe(ish). Wont happen of course but ill support them to the end as he clearly aint going anywhere soon.

Think it will be a very non event with him giving stock answers to questions. Im not confident that he will be able to manage that if enough pressing questions over his style are thrown at him.

Oh please. DCC was a pile of Dog shit right the way up to having a couple of decent games for NJ. Now the NJ out bandwagon jumps on anything it can to justify there argument. To say DCC was the best defender in the club is just bollocks. He looks slow immobile with the touch of Mason greenwood. I agree he has looked better recently but there is clearly a reason why he was dropped midweek. He could be pissed that he was dropped, NJ may be pissed about the red card which was poor or it may be his general attitude.

That's because SR are clearly supporting their manager (evidenced with the 60m layout on players this month) and will give him time now he has the type pf players he feels are needed. Regardless of whether you agree with this decision or not the only way the fans can influence performance and ultimately whether we go down or stay up is by supporting the team and manager on match days. You may be right in your opinion but its worthless in the short term and only makes things more difficult. That's why I choose to support the team rather than constantly look for the negative in the managers performances. Who know at the end of the season we might go down but even then i see the positives in the squad that we will be left with a strong competitive side to mount a challenge despite the likelihood of JWP, Lavia and KWP moving on.

Probably fine as we would have a strong enough squad left after selling JWP, KWP and Lavia for circa 100m. We would be competitive at least and have a chance to see us win some games on a regular basis. in the meantime I’m happy to watch and see if these new players will add some firepower to our goal shy team. 2 points off safety with a team that has the attributes NJ has been asking for. Let’s see him put that into action over the next few games and see how we go.

Assuming these 2 x deals happen and with the other 3, do you think NJ will create a team that will get us out of trouble bearing in mind we are 2 points from safety and have pretty much half the season left? Looks like the signings are very much the type of players that he has asked for so it will be interesting how we develop as a team now he has the parts needed.

harsh is judging someone after circa 6 games with a squad lacking any sort of competent striker coming off the back of he worst record in the football league over the previous calendar year . Id like to say I'm unsurprised by the lack of a new forward coming in to the club but to be honest its so crystal clear that without someone to replace Adams then we have virtually no chance of staying up. The owner of a business who has invested a fortune to buy the club and then finance to the tune of 100m in transfers not to want to protect that investment by ignoring the glaringly obvious hole in the squad, i just cant believe we wont have a new forward by the end of the window. it would be utter madness. Im racking my brain for a possible reason why they would do this and cant come up with anything logical. For that reason I still think we will get someone in.

At the game today right at end with the Blackpool keeper up for the corner loads of fans were screaming at the keeper for claiming the ball and holding on to it rather than try and counter quickly. Most can’t spell game management let alone understand it.

Although Tella In the PL wasn’t impressive IMO and Bree who has been impressive in the championship hasn’t ever actually played in the PL so it’s hard to predict how he will do. Agree with the other two though.

Antonio is 33 in March so I don’t think he has the rest of season in him let alone a few years. westham fans think his legs have gone and as a player that relied on pace over scoring / finishing ability to add value then I think this is a poor signing. He is the reason West Ham are in trouble and you want him to fire us to safety? let’s hope our target list still has a few options on it before we get down to hoping he will save our season.

Maybe we havent got enough cash for a starting full back and a striker in January. Maybe they have a target left back that wont be available until the summer. Maybe it will be significantly cheaper for a LB in the summer. There are plenty of reasons why a cheap short term cover option is better and i guess the point is none of us know the thinking of the club behind the scenes.

He is a RB who is cover for the RB. Cover is always going to be a downgrade on the first choice unless you are looking to replace the first choice RB. If you were looking to replace KWP it would cost us a bucket load of cash that is clearly needed elsewhere. If he can cover at LB then the same principles apply. Maybe he will be played at RWB if we play a back 3 and then the additional height isn’t specifically required as you will then have 3Cbs. either way it’s a really cheap option to provide “cover”. hate on the manager all you like but it least keep it as sensible criticism.
