I'll be out doing a long ride tomorrow, conditions allowing, as I did in LD1. OB don't care.

Each police force seems to have their own ideas. Where I am they closed the carparks on Cannock Chase and Shugborough Hall in March for the 1st lockdown and were turning cars back on the Moorlands and The Peaks. Now they're all open and the MTBs are coming from all over to ride the trails on the Chase.

I've been following this chap from the beginning as he actually understand stats.

I agree with the cause I went on my local protests with friends of ours who are serving soldiers and who are black. I'd have gone anyway. My kids went too with their friends as they believe it's worth it. Doesn't mean that those kicking off in London weren't cunts though, regardless of the cause.

Plenty yesterday didn't participate in the sacking of the capitol. Plenty on the BLM protests didn't participate in any destruction or violence. Those on the extreme right and those on the extreme left are cut from the same cloth and I have little sympathy for either.

Why on earth do you assume that people are incapable of thinking both are wrong despite agreeing that the right to demonstrate peacefully is good? It's not a left v right thing.

Some people cannot accept that those who warned about Trump were right. It would mean admitting that they were wrong and that lack the ability to do that. Similar to trump in that respect. They choose to ignore the warning signs at rhetoric as again, it would mean what they preached and believed was simply wrong and admitting that is beyond them. My place have decided that we can't now go in to use the classrooms. Unfortunately they decided that tonight and bar my laptop all the tools of the trade are sat in my room. That's 2 of us delivering classes whilst 3 are having lessons in my house. How CAGs are to be awarded we still don't know which stresses the kids even more.

So despite having nearly 12 months to come up with a series of plans to fit every contingency regarding what to replace cancelled GCSE and A levels with, and how it will be implemented, they haven't. Tomorrow the inept Williamson will set out the process of how they are going to come up with the replacements. One suggestion I've seen trailed is that everything bar English and maths be CAG'd where as they'd have just 1 paper instead of 2 and 3 respectively. In other words, all the exams are cancelled, except they're not. With BTECs, of which there are exams this week and next, colleges and schools have been told to make their own minds up as to whether they run or not! The level of incompetence is off the scale.

It was just so predictable. Thankfully we've been grabbing data from September but many will now just mentally switch off and we'll not get them back so to speak.
