  1. QPR - 2, Saints - 1 The Sky curse will rear its ugly head again.
  2. I really hope he returns to Saints one day as goalkeeping coach - he could teach young keepers so much. 2nd ever greatest saints keeper in my lifetime, 1st has got be be Shilton with Flowers a distant 3rd to both of them. All the best for the future Annti, I really hope you enjoy your retirement, come back to the Saints soon!
  3. I will give JW a warm welcome back, he gave his all while here and does not deserve stick from us - he did turn in some good performances for us and was always commited wherever he was asked to play in the team. Not the greatest player we had I know but honest, hard working and 100% up for the Southampton cause when he pulled on the shirt and I respect that. As for Hammil I have not feelings either way for him and could not give a toos about him - he played so little for us it hardly felt like he was a Saints player at all. 3 points this weekend - COYR!
  4. Really hope it is not anything too serious, We dont want another Southampton Legend leaving us. All the best Mick, Get well soon.
  5. I dont care how good he might turn out to be, the guy sounds a complete k*ob with a very bad attitude and trouble off the pitch to boot and I dont want people like that in the team corrupting the other young palyers - we have 2 bad examples already anyway. Love the way he writes on his page - We call people like him Ja'fake'ans!, Aaaaaaaait rude boi!!!
  6. 3-1 Saints - Will be my first trip to St Marys this season and cant wait to see the new look team in action.
  7. Great if we could seal the deal on this one - I know he is knocking on now but I always liked Ian Harte and he would make a great addition to the team - Fingers crossed on this one along with the possible signing of Cork.
  8. That is what worries me!! If we keep sinking who knows where we will end. Although I was born and raised in Southampton my son was born in Leicester so if he does not pick up the Saints bug I hope he follows Leicester as it is his local team - still sure I will get him hooked on Saints like everyone else in my family though - you dont pick being a Saint you are born one!
  9. Supporting Saints is in my family's blood, my Dad was a saints fan, as was his dad, and so on and so on but I really worry if my son will carry on the tradition and come with me to Saints games and support the club. He is only 14 months old at the moment but by the time he gets to the age where I can take him with me to matches Southampton football club could have fallen so far that his intrest in the team will be hard to spark. I hate to see glory hunters who state love for a club but have never seem them play live and hold no really connection to the club other than they win all the time.
