If Aribo is anywhere the line up clearly Martin has learnt nothing. Why do our fans still persist on singing his silly song also?
-
might be a bit of a fallout with cardiff this year too. I remeber last time they came here some gobby welsh boyo in a pink top got smashed up at chapel arms pub!!
-
I would be more than happy to finish top half and above the skates, which is more than achievable with the addition of 3 good championship players, (like danns an cork). I dont think Cortese will be too concerned with this either as we are aiming to be in the prem in 5 yrs from the outset of his tenure. In terms of the teams to challenge at the top I would expect West Ham and Boro to be very strong alongside Leicester and the likes of Bham, Forest and Burnley. Surprise package: Cardiff, genuine relegation candidates if u ask me alongside Coventry, Watford and Pboro

dont even think we need to pass comment on prats like this today, think only the positive about players that have actually done something for this club. Not as if hes gonna be getting anywhere near our Championship squad anytime soon!!

sold now sorry mirrorcarp if uve missed out matey!!!

my old man has just rung me to say he has a spare ticket for plymouth away going at face value if anyone is keen. contact no is 07714582914.

what about spmeone like steve howard? is he in the leicester first team? priority has got to be a decent cm though, without lallana there is no creativity at all.
-
schneiderlin is ****e end of rele. as the above poster comments he offers no creativity an no goal threat. Can someone please tell me one telling assist in the two and a bit years hes been at the club? If a team is going to get promoted I reckon u need a good 15-20 goals from centre mid, with him an hammond (the terrible twosome) we will get nowhere near this. His delivery was also appauling today.
-
well he was a bit of a silver fox lol, mrs lambert is what I am strongly led to believe though. Might also explain his complete lack of form so far.
-
the fact he was ****ging mrs lambert kind of suggests he was deserving of the sack to me!!!

bet you would be the first to moan if ure house was being broken into an there was no police around to deal with it. i am not justifying football voilence, simply stating a fact that if they police a situation as badly as they have done on many occasions then what do they expect?
-
I agree with exactly what you say, every football fan is suspected as being a potential menace. Some of the stewards are just as bad, utter jobsworths. One stopped someone from hopping over the divide between the northam an kingsland after the game because there exit was flowing quicker. Such actions really are beginning to **** me off at sms. I think we have the only stewards in the country that are worse to our fans than the away ones. About this muppet with the camera I asked him after the game, (he was near st marys street corner) why he was filiming? He said to identify potential trouble makers as saints have started to cause more trouble away from home. i asked him about surely the fact every seat in the ground being under surveillance covers this anyway, and also the fact his actions antagonised a previously calm situation and all he did was stutter and offer no comment. It was the same with the burnley game, they bring out the dogs....then we all go on....and rightly so.
-
brilliant performance from the boys today, puncheon is class - how the hell does he not get in the plymouth side? really think we need to keep this starting 11 settled, also very pleasing to see there all our own players an no loanees starting tonite. still think play-offs is just a bit to much tho.....beg that im wrong!!!
-
what do you expect by taking him to a saints pompey match?
-
quite clearly it was waigos fault. cheers for posting them, was still celebrating at the time so did not see their goal
-
Had a good weekend, could get better. Put £100 on Saints win Had a free £5 accumulator, Leeds, Arsenal, Newcastle and Leicester/Watford to Draw. Also £50 on AC, Inter.... just need Fenerbache an Real Madrid now.

What annoys me about our crossing is the lack of speed on them. Against Colchester I lost count of the amount of crosses that went in to the box in decent areas but just looped into the air. These are so simple for defenders to defend an ery difficult for strikers to score as they would require neck muscles beyond belief. You want a cross to whipped in with pace so a striker literally just has to get his head on the ball for it to cause trouble.

Oh yeah I recall now, I went to Bomo this year and was wondering who our Number 11 was all game.
-
I would get rid of Pulis, Forecast, Lanca****e, Molyneux and Thompson. I would loan out White and Gobern, but certainly not McLaggon, I would like to see him in an around the first team on his return. Who the hell is Boyle????
-
As I was at the game last night, perhaps I am more suited to comment?? This is a complete over reaction from the Media, they simply love the fact that two clubs who have a reputation kicked off. nothing rele happened, scuffles with old bill (who were heavy handed as always) and a few pitch invasions. There were fights outside the ground aswell, but with two consenting adults? Why is that such a crime? We are hardly talking rape and peados are we? Also why blame the fans directly? Look at it this way, they prob are not as fortunate as some of us, or intelligent. They watch films liek Green Street and play up to an image that is glorified. It was the same principle here v Burnley, it only kicked off when the dogs came out.

Could not agree more, the press would love to jump on this story and Millwall would provide the ideal scapegoat as they are so well known for this. As I have said I was in Yates after the game and there was definatly not a stabbing from my perception.
-
Obviously if true, terrible news!!!... But I was in Yates after the game watching WBA Newcastle and there certainly did not like a stabbing had occured five hours earlier. Dont believe it for a second.

Hole in the Wall at Waterloo station is always gd.
