You must be on the wind up? That side is a mid table Championship side at best. Armstrong already being benched by West Brom is a case in point. What exactly are you basing this assumption on? Birmingham who have just been promoted into the Chanpionship would have a better starting 11 by the time they have spent their funds.

All this talk about Dyche is interesting. If we had gone for him as the Ralph replacement when he was available we wouldn’t have had either of the 2 Premier league relegations of the last 3 seasons. Any Saints fan who thinks they can turn their nose up at him is as deluded as the weirdos clapping the players at full time yesterday.
-
Can’t wait to see the positive brigade renewing their early birds, then crying on here when it’s £5 a kid in February.
-
I guess you’re the sort of individual who thinks he has had his say by mildly booing. That will tell them! You probably even spend extra every week in the new Northam bar, or better still take up an exciting discount on the new third strip. it is not ridiculous to expect the club to come out and offer the fans a gesture in light of the unprecedented shitness the club/business has offered its customers this season. 9 points in April and people think it’s ridiculous to ask for some sort of acknowledgement. Silence is deafening.
-
Do a gesture then and donate 10% of their wages to the fans. My self esteem is not good watching them every week.
-
I state this point genuinely. Are fans entitled to any sort of refund under consumer rights acts for this season? This is not unprecedented, indeed Sunderland fans were offered a refund in the good old days when we beat them 8-0. Out of all the issues I have with SFC this season the silence and treatment of the fans who continue to pay hard earned cash to watch SFC is the biggest insult. Say we have 18,000 season ticket holders paying £600 on average, surely the club should be looking to get some goodwill back and refunding 50%, an approximate cost of £5.5m. To ignore this an say nothing is an absolute disgrace, I can’t wait to see them all face the music at the fans forum. £5.5m is absolutely nothing for a club due over £100m for failing in the Premier League. On that particular subject if I was the chairman of the Premier League I would be bringing in a minimum standard moving forward that has to be met to qualify in the future, much in the same way a boxer doesn’t get their purse for abject failure.
-
How can anyone have sympathy with that crock of shit who are a disgrace to the shirt? They should be embarrassed to even show their faces around the city, 9 points in April ffs, and you have sympathy for them. Why? I have sympathy for the fans that turn up every week and contribute to their primadonna lifestyle and latest tattoo.

Came across well to me. If we still had him we would be better off points wise and in a better place to come back up.

So I’ve scanned through the last 6 pages and I haven’t actually seen Rasmus specifically be called out yet. This is the man who is most accountable, a man who goes on record saying he appoints failed managers because they have learned by their previous mistakes. Well this utter incompetent clown hasn’t. Dragon has actually put up some decent money, it’s just been completely wasted by this loser Rasmus, someone who clearly doesn’t learn from his own mistakes. The only thing I am excited to see Saints related now until the end of the season is him getting questioned at the fans forum. Talking of the fans…..why are 30,000 still turning up every week? Why do people still buy crap drinks at that shit bar with live music they created, why don’t the fans actually do something productive, have a pop instead of minor booing and stop putting money into the failure that is SFC. Until that happens nothing will change. i told Talk Sport in October we wouldn’t get to 11 points, we won’t get off 9.
-
Well I told the nation on Talk Sport in October we wouldn’t reach 11 points. Utterly pathetic. Also, I keep hearing how the step up is so big between the Premier League and the EFL, utter nonsense. If you get your house in order you can compete well, look at Brighton, Bournemouth, Fulham, Brentford and Forest in recent years. The issue isn’t money either, Dragon has spent money and written the cheques, the issue is the money was being spent by Rasmus and Martin, who seemingly just wanted to get his mates back on board.
-
Do we still parade the Pride of the South banner in the Northam wall? That will look class when Bournemouth hit us for 9 in a few weeks time.
-
Would never consider attending this at 7pm Sunday, probably won’t even watch it with the darts on. The season is already over so who really cares?
-
Clueless as ever. I wouldn’t spend a penny in January. The season is over already and we have nothing left to play for other than getting 12 points and beating Derby’s record.
-
Scenes after yet another defeat are pathetic. We go around acting as if we are fortunate to be in the league and on the same pitch as city. We’ve been in the prem about 25 years. We’re not Luton town ffs. Russell is literally creaming himself post match. Someone needs to tell him we lost, again.

Are we getting a new manager after this game?
-
Well, let’s start with the positives. Met Le God outside before kick off, a nice reminder of when football was worth getting worked up by, secondly a good introduction for my 6 year old son to what it’s like to support Saints. Onto the negatives. That substitution to bring on Fraser instead of Taylor is on a par with some of the worst tactical decisions I have seen. Martin clearly has no plan on how to turn this around and you can see that with the random decisions he is making. Onachu suddenly brought in (actually one I agree with) and then Sulemana straight in ahead of Adam Armstrong (ridiculous). He’s not basing these decisions on anything other than desperation. At the same time, the one he does need to bring back in ABK is at home doing nothing. Let’s be realistic, the only thing we have to play for now is to beat Derby’s points total, that would be more embarrassing than the 9-0s. In my view now it is utterly pointless going for Potter and Moyes, neither would touch us so I would just give it to Lallana now until the end of the season. We are so poor and inept we have literally soiled our underpants to Abdul Fatawa. He could walk past me in Tesco and I wouldn’t know who he is.
-
It’s very simple what Russ needs to do, but he will get it wrong. Lose today and we end up with the lowest points total in Premier league history. Leicester are an absolutely horrendous side who are still relying on an OAP upfront. Ramsdale KWP. THB. Jan. Taylor Downes. Lallana Dibling. Fernandes. Archer Onachu
-
4-0 is a par result. Hopefully it’s a lot more so we can force the hand of Dragan to remove Russ. With no game for two weeks there is no real need for Arteta to ease up. I am regretting laughing at the Pompey fans all week at work following their Stoke result.
-
What’s the actual point in sacking Martin when Rasmus will end up just appointing some cheap foreigner? If it’s not Moyes or Potter it is a pointless decision to make.
-
Likes of Fulham seem to be doing a pretty good job of it.
-
How I see it. 1.) Martin has to go, he won’t get us Derby’s points total. He played a load of small men up top first half which meant we had no out ball against a well organised pressing side. Potter or Moyes need to be the options. 2.) the body language of the players first half looked awful, they had thrown the towel in. Winning the second half means nothing as Bournemouth had taken the foot of the gas. 3.) That useless yeti who came on at half time and occupied the left wing is a disgrace. 4.) spare a thought for the fans trying to get back with no trains after that crap. 5.) our so called better players, Downes and Sugawara both poor tonight. KWP has to play every game regardless of contractual issues. 6.) Charlie Taylor about the only player who had a good game.
-
The problem this evening is I don’t even think Bournemouth see us as a big deal anymore. They used to get over excited and choke on their big day out, reality is they are better than us now and I for one will be amazed if we can even get a draw.
-
Don’t worry folks about the 95th minute equaliser, I hear that Bednarek has extended his lead in the pass completion stats this weekend so we have reason to be cheerful.
-
Don’t mind the look of the back 4, but KWP has to play. I would actually play him further ahead on the wing. He would be much more effective than Diaz there.
