  1. Cortesa and Pardew have worked together for nearly a year and a one off meeting is unlikely to change their relationship. I think you're right the meeting is about the future anf if AP was not part of that why bother to invite him to attend?
  2. May be right but thats not a meeting to sack the manager. I thought NC had total control of the club and i'm sure if he wanted to get rid of AP he would supported by the owner.
  3. Has anyone come up with a logical reason why NC needs to call a special meeting to sack the manager.
  4. Don't forget the Echo use any situation to twist supporters opinion of NC. I consider they are either the source of any negative stories or avidly repeat others(not holding back in building them up) no matter how tenuous they are.
  5. http://www.football.co.uk/west_ham_united/premier_league_parachute_payments_set_to_be_extended_to_four_years_rss705720.shtml
  6. What makes me think this article has been sourced from a certain Mr Murray?
  7. From the halfway line?
  8. PA system which is crap Pointless performance of teams shaking hands before match Pointless performance of the team hug Would be good to know who was on the subs bench when the team is announced before ko. The time wasting routine every ref goes through on free kicks.
  9. Talking about group hugs - is'nt that the most pointless part of the match build up. What does or has it acheived? Lets dump it and maybe we could perhaps start a match on time.
  10. If the judge opts for WUO would he not give the club a date deadline to settle bills as per Cardiff and Southend?
  11. Now appears to be in arrears to HMRC for 15m.
  12. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/columnists/view/125367/Skint-Portsmouth-deserve-sweet-FA-out-of-Cup Poopey are certainly losing friends at a fast rate in the written media.
  13. Surely it's about time that EPL and FL monitored the clubs to ensure they operated within measurable budgets. Failure to do so would result in points reductions.
  14. Unless SMS is extended to accommodate 50000+ this will probably stand as the highest supporters attendance in the club's history
  15. http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/7598.html?CMP=OTC-RSS £4M shortfall this month. Nevermind HMRC
  16. You would expect the EPL to do the distribution of any cash to ensure it goes to creditors. (particularly non playing staff)
  17. http://paddytheflea.wordpress.com/2010/02/16/drive-the-hawkers-out-of-the-temple/ The anger against Portsmouth appears to be spreading.
  18. Another footbridge across the railway at the chapel end would ease congestion on the existing bridge and may well be cost effective
  19. Not much more than 1 weeks wages and tax. Every little helps I suppose
  20. I think he's the best RB we've got. Continually playing LJ out of position this season has been a major mistake by AP.
  21. If I've got this wrong I apologise. I understood from a previous post that you live well outside the Echo catchment area? You surely rarely read or buy the Echo so how can the Echo's limited coverage of a Wembley appearance be unthinkable to you. I am amazed at the number of posts you have managed to generate on this subject.
  22. http://www.dailyexpress.co.uk/posts/view/155975/Saints-declare-Southern-war/ Looks like Echo have fed dispute story to Nationals. Not much sign of bridge building going on.
  23. I can't believe it would be 3M up front as he can't kick a ball for Stoke until next season. I thought Stoke needed a GK for the rest of this season. Perhaps the deal is to loan Bergovic back to Poopey with James going the other way.
  24. Surely their share of the gate would be in excess of their ticket sales. I would have thought we would forward their take less their ticket sales?
