I know there is still 2 weeks+ left in this transfer window but things seem very quiet on Saints players moving on to lower costs. Recent statements from JP indicated that he was not expecting to lose players and he is now hoping to still bring in a couple.I dont read imminent Administration somehow. Is the financial situation now improved or is something going on which we dont know about?

I suspect the budgeted gate figure is probably around 18000. It was clear even pre the RL and MW return that season ticket sales were going to drop my several thousand and, despite the rhetoric, a mid table finish would be the most optimistic of season outcomes. Decent cup runs will probably be needed to acheive the required adequate attendances though that would not have been budgeted for.

Surprised George O'brien has not been mentioned No 5 goalscorer for the club. Cracking inside forward who scored goals for fun. Terry Paine could always seem to find him.

Very true what you say but I get the impression a large number of so called hardcore, vociferous fans on this forum attend very few or if any games.

According to the OS if its a draw after 90mins its straight to penalties.

Seems to me that except for Killer all other senior players who are not in the squad(SJ is) are available to be shipped out and if they were cuptied that may jeopardise potential transfer. Players available;- Davis Rasiak Skacel Euell WrightPhillips Thomas anymore?

Rasiak, Skacel and Euell have been declared surplus and if the right offer comes in for Davis he can go also. Any guesses how much the wage bill will have been reduced in total by the end of the month?
