  1. John Collins leaving current club, Chareroi, at end of season. Just a coincidence?
  2. Sorry this was on Radio Hampshire
  3. MW seems to be taking a very hard line with both Swansea and Watford on the price tags for both Dyer and Rasiak. Either he's a very good poker player or their is confidence that the club finances are about to improve?
  4. Solent now stating that talks are taking place today with front runner and deal could be announced as early as tommorrow.
  5. The media seem to be getting some info from the Administrator and then putting their own interpretation on it. It would be helpful if MF could put some sort of clarification on the OS. We may not be creditors, potential buyers or media outlets but we are the customers who are being asked to supply additional funds to possibly keep the club alive whilst this process continues.
  6. Solent now stating that we should know by end of week. Talks with interested parties continue. Firm offer yet to be made. Perhaps bid and firm offer are stages one and two?
  7. I cant understand this. If there are no bids and no urgency from potential buyers what makes Fry think he can name preffered bidder within 48hours?
  8. Administrator is to talk, tomorrow, to one of the three groups. Thought to be the one associated with MLT. Acccording to BBC.
  9. The way the story was linked with the MLT interview I gained the impression the MLT consortium was in the driving seat. As the MLT interview was also run at lunchtime could have been down to sloppy editing?
  10. South Today has stated deal could be done within 24 hours
  11. Have already sold 18000 season tickets for next season, apparently a 1000 more than this time last year, the basic cost being £366. Hopefully a new regime will be able to generate similar interest from our supporters.
  12. Sunday morning hangover should read 10days.
  13. Fry is quoted in Echo as hoping for a successful conclusion within a week to seven days.
  14. I think thats been suggested since day one of administration.
  15. Not heard it but as MLT is employed by SKY they would surely have checked with him on any stories where he is named?
  16. Obviously we'll know in the next few days one way or another. The whole article is primarily about WH Ireland and SFC is covered by one paragraph. Has the journalist been accurately briefed or just made it up? The sentence used seems quite clear to me. "He is leading a legal appeal after the administration cost the beleagured club a ten-point penalty."
  17. Ive read it again and cant see how you you come to that conclusion. The Times is not perfect but the article is written by a respected business journalist not a sports hack for the Star.
  18. Assuming, and I think you are probably right that he will not be back. Im far more interested in yesterdays article in the Times . It states that RL is leading a legal appeal against the 10 points deduction. The football club can only go down the appeal route which we all know that will almost certainly be a fruitless exercise. Im not to sure the FL will relish justifying their decision in a court of law. Hasn't Rupert got a good record when it comes to litigation?
  19. Surely the PLC uses the legal route as they are not part of the FL. Simultaneously SFC uses the appeals procedure. If our case is so strong it might give the FL some problems.
  20. I dont understand why all comments about the current financial dire straits of SFC are coming from the likes of LC,LM and RC. The administrator may not feel able to comment as his responsibility is the PLC but the football club does have two full time directors who to my knowledge have not uttered a word on any issue whatsoever.
  21. We can only hope that negotiations progress between administrator and potential new owners which take into account the various outcomes for the club at season end. Time would appear to be in very short supply!
  22. Does anybody Know what the monthly outgoings are SFC?
  23. If allegedly we have hardly enough cash to get through this month how on earth do we finance may/june. Clubs dont normally like buying players until late summer as it keeps their payroll down. If what hear is true(the administrator claims we can only finance to the end of the season) we had better have new ownership in place within 4 weeks or I fear for the future
  24. Im sure if it is that simple the ten points would be applied already.
  25. I think you'll find we are in administration now and if a buyer is not found by the end of the season SFC will be insolvent and will no longer exist!
