you get the bus pass and reduced season ticket at 60 -
Hasn't TL aready given detail on his role in the new set up? He will not be involved with football matters but will act as the go between football board and the owner, to keep him informed, and where necessary request the release of funds. He may well be no more titled than as a director.

No early headline from the echo website?
Third Division South Days replied to skings80's topic in The Saints
This is just repeating tha article in Saturday morning "Pink". Not a single mention on Saints in there today. -
How many will refuse to to go to matches if he's on the board? Not a lot I suspect. Would rather there was a complete sweep but like most others just happy we've probably still got a club. If the new powers want LC involved, for whatever reason, I suspect the majority of supporters will not be too bothered.

Football League withold money
Third Division South Days replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
Echo has presented the story in that the FL withholding part of the money comes as a blow to the Saints. This likely outcome has already been commented on many times on this forum so i'm sure the club were fully aware of the situation. -
Pinnacle have probably already sorted the manager situation. Whether it be MW or whoever decisions could be made now but until the deal is finalised isnt the decision down to Dave Jones and the other guy. Additionally where would any income generated during the transistional period go? The creditors or the new board?

Fry wants £14 million for Saints!
Third Division South Days replied to SOTONS EAST SIDE's topic in The Saints
Where's this come from? Fry is not employed by Barclays but a company appointed by Barclays to act as Administrators. Saying that it was MF decision the reduce the overdraft facility for instance does not ring true. -

Couldn't agree more but this is why he his paid mega bucks and im sure the creditors would be well informed of the situation and in agreement with the pros and cons of the strategy. -

I would think MF would want to ensure he had the best deal for his creditors before naming a preferred bidder. If the Echo is to be believed then the Pinnacle bid has faltered, MJ group has raised offer but it is still short. The Echo were only stating a few days ago the overseas consortium were lurking in the background but now it is claimed they are confident of pushing ahead with their plans for the club and can meet the the creditors demands. MF, I think, would not want to to name MJ as preferred bidder whilst there is a potentially better deal with the overseas people. -
15m seems a bargain considering it wouldnt buy a less than average premiership player.

I dont remember how many weeks ago the 10 point penalty was made and although SFC could appeal I thought it was within a certain timescale. Could any appeal fail on those grounds alone?
-
Well put. There is a limited number of posters who hijack every thread with posts that are long winded, repetitive and have become very boring to the majority. Im interested in the views and opinions of whats happening today which are about the future of the club. If posters want to keep talking about events leading up to administration it should be on relevant threads

Southampton sale 'unlikely'- Fry
Third Division South Days replied to Rocker268's topic in The Saints
I understood it as the sale of SFC was unlikely. -
More positive news at 1pm. Although deadlines missed Pinnacle confident deal will go through. No mention of MF comments.

Echo claiming today that there is enough in the coffers to pay this months wages.
-
Inside knowledge or blind optimism? I suspect the latter.
-
Trouble is this story in this mornings paper so it was probably written at least 24 hours ago. MF is being quoted now on Solent that a bid for the FC is unlikely.

Saints buyout deal hangs in balance
Third Division South Days replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
Its also sometime since the likes of LC were making statements on the dire financial situation of SFC and there was no money to continue after the last match. These voices have gone very quiet. There must be funding from somewhere. Perhaps its the Bank? -
Saints buyout deal hangs in balance
Third Division South Days replied to Master Bates's topic in The Saints
One interesting sentence in todays Echo article. "The Echo understands that there IS enough money in the coffers to meet the wagebill commitment even if no deal is agreed prior to the players and staff getting paid." It would appear fears of the club folding this week are premature? Suggests 16million could be the cost to the buyer. -
Today's D-day, there will be

If a deal is not yet done with MLTs Pinnacle Group surely, as threatened, MF is about to axe them from the talks? -
If the club does not own the stadium any additional income is not relevant.
-
There is already housing within a few feet of ST Marys and why should housing be the only development proposed.
-
I would be wary of any situation if St Marys was not owned by the club or the council. Just remember what happened to Brighton when the ground was sold for development and they ended up homeless.
