It would be ironic because the cup tied rule doesnt apply here and they would be ringers if they were bought in just for the final.
-
The ironic thing is that this doesnt affect Saints or Carlisle, they could get a couple of ringers in on loan from the prem and of course they wouldnt be cup tied.
-
Keep it, or you will get teams signing players on loan just for a semi final or final. Its a rule in every cup comp so theres no chance it will be scrapped.

To prove a point. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8515712.stm During a training exercise he shoots a "baddy" with a shotgun from a foot away and it wasnt even an accident.
-
Ive seen it posted elsewhere that it is apparently "against human rights" to lock people in after games now.
-
and their average IQ is about 70.
-
Its the 1st time Ive seen him play, he won everything in the air and scored with the 1 set piece he didnt take. Seems like a no brainer for someone else to take corners and set pieces that arent shots on goal. I also think he will move on in the summer if Saints dont go up.
-
He did resign, the club was informed by his solicitor. Even the LMA says he resigned. Strachan had a good record elsewhere, as a Saints fan, you should know that. Hart has been a failure everywhere. There was no reason to believe that was going to change. The latest news is Flav may well be on his way out which is great as then we can get a top manager in and he will be left alone to do his job.
-
He resigned http://www.leaguemanagers.com/news/news-6504.html Hes been a failure all his career, no one wanted him there so everyone is glad hes gone. Just imagine if Saints hired Tony Adams or Bryan Robson, I bet everyone would be glad to see the back of them, even if it was after a month. As for morons, I would say that applies to people who comment on other teams without knowing whats actually going on on and off the pitch.
-
He didnt turn it around, he made it much, much worse and we were on a slide to relegation with him. No one including the players wanted him there in the 1st place. Anyway, he walked out but in those 5 games, he has passed Holloway in becoming the most clueless manager at LR that I have ever seen. He also played 6 defenders for the last 10 mins of one game too. Harford will be there until the summer where another manager is already lined up but is unavailable now.
-
Hes the worst manager Ive ever seen, hes been booed at every home game and the whole ground singing "you dont know what youre doing". He decided to bring off the best player while losing in the last game and not even bother making a 3rd sub. Im glad hes gone, wed have been relegated with him, whoever appointed him in the 1st place should be sacked too. We will get someone like Megson and the merry go round will continue. He was sacked for playing long ball without a target man bypassing a midfield, including Faurlin, Buzsaky and Routledge.

Just found out Agyemang had been transfer list by JM an hour before KO, no wonder he confronted him during the bust up.
-
This is a long story, he was constantly picking Fitz Hall who was costing us 2 goals a game when far better players were on the bench. You could see the players were unhappy, at the weekend one of our best players told me he was thinking of leaving. Agyemang didnt even celebrate when he scored on Monday. Magilton headbutted Buzsacky, our best player and then JM locked him out of the dressing room and he was sat on the sidelines in his kit for over an hour after the game. After he butted Buz, Agyemang pulled him off and JM asked if he wanted some and Agyemang said hed like to see him try. Of course JM backed off as Agyemang is a powerful guy and Buz isnt. The players went to the owners and he had to go. He was blaming two of our best players all the time, hes utterly clueless. For once, this is not on the owners, theyve done exactly the right thing.

We were getting annoyed by this yesterday being constantly asked to stand up. They should do what they do in the US, only allow people to take their seats at a break in play. If people cant be arsed to take their seat on time, they wont be getting in the way of peoples view during play.
-
Its already been done and the correct decisions made, I remember a last minute handball on the line wasnt spotted in an international game, the 4th official then told the ref and the decision was reversed......so FIFA took the monitor away from the 4th official so the wrong call would stand. They say they want football to remain the same at all levels but their idea of 2 extra officials by the goal wont work because lower leagues struggle to find refs and run without proper linesmen. Theres no way they are going to get another 2 people per game.
-
Because he was terrible, I saw him at Aldershot and theres no way he was CCC material and he hasnt played a lot in the last 3 seasons.
-
No, it makes you 7th, the team in 7th, becomes 8th and everyone else below drops a place too. To come in 6th, you have to beat the team in 6th. Youre wrong on that one.

The rules are different to the PL and FL, I dont think a single PL team has been in admin yet. If they get relegated, they are screwed and I think admin will follow. But they wont get a points penalty while in the PL so a relegation would have to be purely on merit and they are doing a very good job of that at the moment.
-
I read that the PL would take control of them before they went into admin so it looks like a PL team will never go into admin as they wont let it happen.

As someone who regularly goes the other way to games. The train is good but expensive. Greyhound has a great service with 2 feet of leg room and reclining chairs and also great customer service. ie they gave me a free ride because a competitors coach didnt turn up last Saturday. They also have free wifi, sockets for comps and free papers. If you book early, its £2.50 return and its also 45 mins quicker than NE as the coaches are direct. National is also cheap but you are packed in like sardines and the coaches are usually very hot and they dont use the AC. They also stop at Winchester, basingstoke and Heathrow.
-
I was there and he was shocking, the 4th goal was hilarious. It wouldnt surprise me if Barnsley tried to sign him on a permanent.
-
Wouldnt surprise me, I was at Stamford bridge where they let out 31k scum fans and 6k QPR fans at the same time and the away fans had to cross paths with the home to get to the tube. Although it did have a positive side, one scum fan who had watched too much football factory shouted out with his arms held out "come on then you rangers mu..." and he had his teeth knocked out before he could even finish the sentence.
-
Agyemang is not wanted and is not liked by other players, wed let him go without a second though because he cant even get into the squad when we are so short up front. Hes on big wages so Im not sure if hed go to Saints because hes a bertie big ****** who drives a bentley and would rather not play and pick up the cash rather than drop down and take a pay cut.. Connolly wasnt really on trial with QPR, he was just training to keep fit.
-
it cant even itself over a season when 1 decision is enough to knock any team out of cup matches or Europe.
-
They had a suspended 3 point deduction from the PL. I hope they invoke that if its still within the time frame allowed.
