  1. Think about it for a minute. Why sign him, spiderman and asmi. Bye bye Drew and Lallana in Jauary
  2. It's been quite clear in the last two games that when we've reverted to 4-4-2 we start posing the oppostion more problems. There's a distinct lack of width with the 'total' formation probably due to the paceless full backs having been caught out and not being quick enough to get back. Whilst I think we knocked it about well in the early games we've taken a few knocks since and confidence and belief isn't great. He has to change it because we've too many round pegs in square holes.
  3. Some simple ideas of which I am sure we have MANY others 1) Any season ticket holder adult can bring up to 3 kids for a quid, they can apply for a temporary seat swap in their area (subject to availability) for each game to allow the kids to sit with the grown ups. 2) Friends for a Fiver - any season ticket holder can bring a student for a fiver (same deal on seating) 3) Mates for a Tenner - any season ticket holder can bring a friend for a tenner. All new tickets sold only to ST holders and all new buyers must complete the membership application on-line so we can bombard them with junk mail marketing. Cup Games - all ST holders for a tenner. I'm sure 'Pay on the gate' would persuade a few more casual attendees but with the advent of crowd segregation I'm not sure how this would sit.
  4. it was relaid for Claus testimonial
  5. Good to see a defender with a good first touch. He is not that tall though and may struggle aerially against your typical CCC centre forward,
  6. How refreshing to see a motivated team playing with enthusiasm and commitment across the park. We didn't have a poor player on show. The only blemish for me is that the 'bobbly' pitch is not helping the one and two touch football that the lads are trying to play.
  7. I've believed for a while that he has similar attributes to MLT in his early days. His composure on the ball is superb and he doesn't need great pace to beat a man. I just hope that we can keep hold of him.
