I know we still have 3 days of this week but when the itk's said this would be a very good week for Saints I was hoping for 3 signings this week and maybe confirmation of new contracts for Cork and Fonte I am delighted with Tadic's signing but the itk's wetted my appetite to Saints having an excellent week which 1 signing isn't. With 6 active bids in are we close to landing a couple more signings The Itk's have hinted at some good news on Sunday(assume that must be a dutch player at the world cup?)

I see one of the papers reckon Swansea have bid £6 million for Van Dijk from Celtic. Surely we should be interested at that sort of price particularly as we are going to need 2 cb's after Lovren's antics

At the moment we are the laughing stock of the football world.You only need to look at twitter to see the sunday league side jokes say steve and bob the plumber etc lining up for Saints next season. Yes I know its only having a laugh but all the neutrals are saying wtf is going on and tipping us to be relegated. We really really need some good news this week unless more and more Saints fans will be classed as bedwetters by the happy clappers until they open their eyes and see no signings and all our best players gone!! Hope the board quickly show us that they do know what they are doing and are not mickey mouse!!

With the team above we would struggle to get a single point and would be the worst premiership side in history. I have a sneaking feeling that Koeman would have resigned by the opening game if he had to field the above side!! Lets hope we can get 3 or 4 signings in within the next week as it is currently very miserable being a Saints fan

I see some Villa fans on twitter reckon we have bid for Ron Vlaar and are worried we will get him

I don't mind the club looking to bring a couple more kids next season but if it is there intention to fill the majority of the sales of our star players with acedemy kids then we are in big big trouble!! We will also be 100% lied to by the board who said that the transfer monies from the sale of players would be reinvested in the team Currently very very unimpressed with our board who haven't even managed to get one signing over the line when the club and fans desperately needs a bit of good news. I thought this week was meant to be better for Saints. So far it has been total shi*e what with more negative stories on Lovren and Morgan and now even Fonte linked away and now Tadic looking unlikely. Really frustrating being a Saints supporter

I hope to god we start getting some of these intended signings over the line. They really seem to be dragging and we desperately need some good news. I know these things take time but you start worrying that deals are falling through when itk posters are saying we will hear of a new signing Monday or tuesday and now its thursday and still no signings

Lallana has acted like a spoilt brat and i hope he is Liverpool's next Stewart Downing and fails miserably

When are the board going to say no one else is leaving. They are a total joke or are we going to let J Rod,Cork,Wanyama,Fonte,Clyne,Ward Prowse and Chambers to all say they want to leave and have no one left. Can't remember many worse days supporting Saints when not playing a match. Really depressing day with Lallana leaving,Morgan and Bendner stories. Was coping with Shaw but the rest have seriously pi**ed me off. The board need to get a couple of big signings in this week to quickly steady the ship before it starts sinking and we head for a relegation battle next season

Thanks for the update. Are we likely to see some transfers in imminently as we really do need some good news and to also see what sort of players Koeman can attract? Shaw was inevitable, Lallana disappointing. If Lovren goes are we saying no more sales other than someone like Osvaldo or do you think Morgan, J Rod, Cork etc will also be leaving? Surely our borad must know they must start saying no to players leaving and if too many leave it puts us in a very dangerous position next year imo

Maybe KL is so pi**ed off with MP and NC that she has decided to invest more in the transfer budget to try to get us to the next level and compete with Spurs and is not worried of overspending this summer. If Lovren, Shaw and Lallana all leave this summer it would not surprise me if we end up spending £100 million+ on 7 new players

I see someone on not606 board reckons we have bid £18 million joint bid today for Marshall and Caulker from Cardiff. Would be very happy with Marshall but would prefer the Celtic defender or Martins Indi for cb

How do we know that KL hasn't decided in the past couple of weeks after being totally shafted by Mopo and realising we need to show some ambition to keep our best players to not invest some of her own fortune to help the transfer budget this summer and make £50 million available to our new manager. The press are having a field day at our expense but only Lambert has actually left(or about to). Lets see who is appointed manager and if its Garcia or Gross then the sh*t will definitely hit the fan and see if the board stick to their word of not selling anyone else until the new manager is appointed. Similarly if they break their word on this this week then we can rightly go ballistic until then it is all media hype

If we sell Lallana, Shaw ,Lovren and Morgan and only spend £15 million we are the most guaranteed bet ever to be relegated which can't be in the boards interests. If these players leave we will spend £70-£80 million + and still comfortably be in profit. Even without any players leaving our budget was £20-£30 million to spend!!!

God i wish i wasn't a saints fan at the moment. We won't have 11 players to field a team next season and will probably have some plonker like oscar garcia or dan petrescu as manager. Will stick £100 on Saints being relegated as we must be the most sure fire bet ever!!!!! The national media seem intent on destroying Southampton Lets hope the board are not full of bullsh*tters and liars and do stay strong and not sell everyone off. If we sell 6 or 7 players we are fu**ed next season. Very fed up and frustrated Saints fan even though noone has actually left yet but definately fear the worst

If our board sell Lallana for £20 million or him & Lovren for £30 million they are a total joke and i hope they put the club up for sale before they relegate us!!! Lallana should be sold for no less than £30 million and i can't see Liverpool paying that. If we don't have to sell why are we giving our best players away Lovren should be for £20+ million. We currently appear to have the biggest mickey mouse board in the pl who seem to be totally out of their depth(very unimpressed if the inevitable happens). So if we sell Shaw,Lallana,Lovren and Morgan will the manager be given £100 million to spend to rebuild our side. We will need about 10 players!!?

If KL and RK make the wrong decisions in the next 10 days then they definately will not have my support. Due to the media hype I am currently very suspicious and concerned about what direction Saints are heading in which could be relegation if they sell too many of our 1st team players. They need to seriously man up and the silence is deafening at the moment from the board

If we plug a hole in our finances and do not reinvest the majority of the money on 5-6 signings to seriously strengthen our already weak squad we will be in big big trouble next season if Lovren and Morgan have also cleared off as some are predicting. There would also be a poisonous atmosphere at St Marys next season which would see the end of the Liebheers as a significant amount of Saints fans would be fuming with the asset stripping and demonstrating against the board. After what the board and Les Reed have been saying hopefully its the media and Cortese causing the majority of these rumours and whilst a couple of players might be allowed to leave we will not allow the 6 or 7 that the media are harping on about to destabilise this club which they seem to want. I expect us to still have a competitive team next season that has every chance of finishing in the top 10 again. 2 or 3 players may be allowed to leave but should be replaced aswell as bringing in 2 strikers, goalkeeper and central defender to mprove the rest of our squad

I'd be really surprised if we were willing to talk to Liverpool at the £20 million mark. If we don't need to sell then we shouldn't be talking to clubs until they are at £30-£35 million mark offering a deal that is too good for us to turn down. £20 million is nowhere near enough and i hope we play hardball if we need to. Some on here will say he is not worth £30-£40 milion but if the big clubs want our best players we should make them pay over the odds or say no deal

I got shot down by the happy clappers at the end of the transfer window for pointing out that we probably have one of the weakest squad in the whole premiership. Yes our 1st choice 11 is a match for practically any team but we will do very well in the summer to only lose one or two of them and if we can't bring in as good replacements which is doubtful we will need a huge influx of about 6/7 players to get to the next stage or even remain a side finishing 8,9 or 10 imo

a total and absolute disgrace and we have missed a decent chance of having a real cup run and possibly having a day out at Wembley. Very pi**ed off will we ever have a better chance of getting some silverware? Season over!!

Well I hope to god Jrod or Lallana don't pick up a serious injury as we desperately need them to stay fit for the rest of the season now with no back up squad depth. We have a great first choice eleven but one of the weakest if not the weakest squads in the whole of the premiership with only quality back up players at right back and midfield. We are weak at goalkeeper, left back, centre backs, wingers, attacking midfield and upfront imo with our back up options at present taking into account our current injuries. Disappointed with getting rid of the deadwood why we haven't got at least one player in to give everyone a lift. Now suspicious that KL does want to sell the club kept the assets to get a better price but cost cutting elsewhere.

Good to get rid of some of the deadwood this transfer window but with all the wages saved it is very frustrating to not bring anyone in and rely on an 18 year old kid upfront. If we get a few more injuries we could be in big trouble as we are not safe yet and have no squad strength depth at all now. Yes we should be safe but nothing is guaranteed yet and after a great start it would be a real shame for the season to peter out now due to lack of squad strength and relying too much on kids Maybe the fans should follow Saints example and say we can't be ar*ed with the second half of the season as that is the message they are sending out to us. Unimpressed with our lack of ambition. Yes we have kept our best players so things could be a lot worse but with all these wages freed up its disappointing that we can't get a couple of players in that we desperately need to keep competition for places and have a decent finish to the season
