I think villa playing qpr next week is really helpful - both have picked up confidence, and one will have it smashed almost immediately. Would like it to be qpr, but think it more likely to be villa. A point does nothing for either. Oh, and wigans game in hand is at citeh so should be an irrelevance.

I would suggest predicting a 5-0 defeat is more childish than calling someone a d1ck head.

And your 4500 comments of utter sh1te give you more 'store'? You're almost funny. Lets test your theory ... If we lose 5-0 at home to Liverpool I will concede you were right all along ... As i said, d1ck head
-
You really are a complete d1ck head, aren't you.

Lallana and Ramirez were well below average ... We only created 15 chances today. Our creative payers need to get a grip. Or maybe it's the lunatic fans that do ...

Norwich City 0-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction
Chewy replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Um, the free kick he gave to Norwich at our place was correct, and shaw did push holt today ... -
Kind of the point I was making, along with the issue of singing on fees, wages, bonus payments etc. the simple 'we could have bought x instead for the same amount (or in 110 per saints case x +y+ z)' is, and always will be b0llocks.

Norwich City 0-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction

So many of today's posts are saying how rubbish our creative players were and how rubbish we are going forward. We've created something like 35 chances is 2 games. The issue is clearly one of finishing, not the general standard of play or the creative abilities of the players selected. But its easier to slate ramirez than lambert isnt it ( neither deserve it imho). we are playing well, we just need composure in finishing. That is a very different scenario than the one painted by many on here - that we are sh1t, being embarrassed by inferior teams, and going down and probably going bust too. For the second week running, all I want to say to most of you is get a grip. -
No we couldn't.

Do Saints have the best players in the world w/o an international cap?
Chewy replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
Do you mean european? Anyway, good - don't want the French playing their best 11 -
Do Saints have the best players in the world w/o an international cap?

Yes it's a bonkers thread, but schneiderlin must be worth a cap, and lambert is the top scoring Englishman in the league so has a decent claim. No one else yet, though. -
No matter how many times I do the bbc predictor, the bottom 3 never get more than 35 points, so yes I would take 37. Should add I've never had saints in the bottom 3 either - some of the others have some nasty games left! Biggest games for us are west brom, reading, stoke and west ham. Add in a sneaky point at maybe Sunderland, Swansea or Norwich and possibly against Liverpool and we will be fine. Today is not 'must win' but would be nice to get some breathing space.

In all seriousness, has anyone on this forum got a brain??? Ok, so Oscar Wilde was slightly better at irony than cb fry, but some of you really need to pause for a second before typing.
-
That is a very fair comment!

Please join Dalek in starting a thread telling us all how wrong you were when we stay up.

Your life might be quite satisfactory, but your posts are boll0cks

No, there is a reason for the name, it's just not Star Wars. Anyway, I'm perfectly calm about the football; been a fan long enough to expect the odd ( or rather often) hiccup, just can't understand those who go apoplectic when things don't go perfectly. Christ, they must be very disappointed with their lives unless they're all millionaires being sucked off every hour by vestel virgins given their dismay at a disappointing, and slightly unfortunate result. The whole transfer policy is doomed. Doomed I tell you!
-
Nope, but I honestly think about 35 will do.
-
"Chewy" is not in the slightest bit woodie related. And I am perfectly relaxed, which is why i don't lose the plot over one bad result and think we will be relegated, go bankrupt and think we will be swimming with the nc fishes in a few weeks time. There are many people who need more of a chill pill than me on here!
-
Excellent, I will remember this and remind you of it in a few weeks time.
-
Not a patch on the op. oh, that'll be you then ...
-
So when we don't get relegated you're going to start a post saying"I'm not vindicated and am, in fact, an utter pr1ck"?
-
Can we have a poll on who the worst poster is? Only I can't narrow to down to two options - there's far too many utter pr1cks to choose from. My vote goes to norway saint. How dare he speak rationally on here; it's just not acceptable.
-
That's a bit of an exaggeration, isn't it. Which mediocre sides have given us a lesson other than qpr since mp took over? The only others I can think of this season were under NA. Just saying ... And just to point out if you don't like watching your team lose to mediocre sides frequently, you made a bad choice with saints. I've had years of it.
