Thought Matt Targett looked ok last night, but perhaps needs to mature phyisicaly for a while longer. I was actually more impressed with Jason McCarthy when he cam on to play left back. Of the Young'uns last night, Harrison Reed and Jack Stephens looked the most promising to me, turnbull also looked ok. I think Isgrove could be ok as an impact player off the bench at times, certainly worth a go in the cups to see where he's at.

I would expect RK to evaluate him in preseason first.

The trouble with rickie is he's misplacing passes all over the place, looking ponderous on the ball and getting dispossessed. I love rickie, but his form has been poor - whether he's playing a different role or not, he's been making more mistakes than we are used to seeing from him. I hope he goes to the world cup, but he needs to step it up.
