the BBC are very fond of this kind of stat, especially Nick Robinson. However, it is completely meaningless, in terms of fairness, unless you compare the tax they pay to the income they "Earn". Another issue of course, is what the very wealthy, (top 0.1% ?) do to move their income around and sheild it from tax altogether).

The standard is desperate. Shearer says precisely nothing, but in a quite genial" one of the boys way". No good at all, but art least you don't have to put up with him through the whole game. Not much time for Lowe at all, but under him we got a decent stadium , in a decent location for a very good price. He has to take the stick for managerial mess ups, he can take the credit for the Stadium, even if he had some luck along the way.

well quite. The top 7 aren't getting relegated any time soon, which means almost 25 % of the rest are, every season. 27 years was an amazing achievement, and relegation was down to lowe's failure to deal well with managers.

trouble is a lot of professionals in the game, in various roles, don't know the laws.

A very good idea when discussing Theo is to actually watch him play, rather than just believe what you read in the press. he is outstanding at international and every other level. He will be a huge miss for England. On central midfielders, I have to say that Jonjo Shelvey was absolutely outstanding at SMS. Does he play like that every week?!

quite. I walk over to near St Denys station, drive home to near Salisbury, and often get home before 6. Out of town sites are potentially much worse for travel. One major factor is the much smaller number of potential road exit routes.

last 3 games. 2 decent results and one decimated team sheet against a very good team, when we actually scored 2. Before that,two away defeats to top 4 teams, and 1 bad performance . Todays result wasn't bucking a trend, it was a really good result against a modest but dangerous team.

not really a poor run. good results against the barcodes and citeh, and an injury list against spuds that would have done any team in.
