  1. Yes well done Bournemouth, that's truly one up on us. You did it against a team without a manager. Using our goalkeeper. In a lower division. Fantastic.
  2. You're going to compare booing a football manager to bombing a terrorist group that beheads people. Right. The bloke walked out on us. But I'd like to point out that when we started with the anti-Redknapp vitriol against QPR, they got back into the game. It only motivates the opposition.
  3. Pointless even asking. There will always be a few that don't engage their brains before saying something, the same kind of people that booed Chambers at Arsenal.
  4. Yep, happy to contribute.
  5. Hope outsiders are looking at this thread - and indeed the person who did it. Utterly shameful in so many ways.
  6. There was an Arsenal fan with a right beer gut saying we'd bought a 'sh*t keeper from Scotland' after Sanchez scored - don't suppose anyone else on here was near to that? Their lot were very easily agitated weren't they?
  7. Doing medicals at the uni helps our relationships and ties with the community. Or something.
  8. Hibs' boss is Alan Stubbs, who did a bit of work with Everton's youth. Might have impressed by what he saw when playing us. Happens a lot - Neal Ardley at Wimbledon was Cardiff's youth boss for a while, saw a few players he thought could do a job in League Two and sure enough signed them when he got the Dons job.
  9. The stuff of meme legend... Das it mane
  10. Four games. Just remember that.
  11. P*rtsmouth 0 - 1 Newport
  12. It was a woman...!
  13. Shame it's for those Franchise c*nts.
  14. Jack Cork made a huge difference when he came on. No question. First half our performance was bordering on dire, the second was very good. If the game proved anything it was that Pelle is much better with his feet than he is with his head, and it was good to see that the service to him was both different and an improvement on Saturday. My memory of the game however will be the stupid old codger behind me that got on every single player's back, for some reason in particular Fonte, who was incredibly annoying. If you've nothing good to say, or can't bring yourself to provide support to the team, don't attend games.
  15. As with every season, I'm going to judge the team after ten games. I wasn't one of those cheering when he eventually did win a ball in the air, and I am not a knuckle dragger, however I was concerned that he looked to have trouble winning the ball when we repeatedly hit it toward him. I very rarely saw him win the ball with his head. He was very good controlling the ball and laying it off with his chest, but as has been said, Olsson had a very easy time of it. From what I've seen and read he's very good with his feet, so it begs the question why isn't he receiving the ball at his feet? If he looked so uncomfortable winning the ball in the air, and I think he did at times, why did we persist on providing it to him like that? Wasn't all that impressed but as I said, judging the team as a whole after ten games.
  16. Ah yes. I will not forget those posts in a hurry...
  17. Using a ballot form - the old ways are the best!
  18. Pardew was born and bred in Wimbledon, just down the road from Fulham... Again, a Wimbledon boy.
  19. Spoke to a Wimbledon fan who said he had been told as far back as last season that it was a case of when and not if the club were done over for fielding ineligible players - their admin is diabolical.
  20. I've said it before and I'll say it again. A few decent results (with their often-extended budget, the least they should be doing is beating a few also-rans in League Two) and he gets the job permanently. He then f*cks it up, they spiral into turmoil, before a caretaker is appointed and repeat.
  21. Still bitter about only being offered a one year deal by Burley, one wonders.
  22. 'Easter egg for a a skate mug.' Oops.
