  1. I think it's part of their normal ner ner ner-ing.
  2. His shooting has regressed this year. He doesn't back himself from distance now either.
  3. It's such a great chant when the whole ground joins in. There aren't many Premier League grounds with a better atmosphere, even on a **** day. When even the Chapel joins in the place absolutely rocks, just wish it happened more.
  4. Looks like Tom Cruise has let his brother escape again....
  5. Apparently the stewards and police were in overkill because the few brought 3 or 4 times more supporters than Orient normally get. According to the deluded denizens of Skates Online.
  6. Must be wrong, if we sold out the entire stand then the Bestest must have packed out the stadium. There's no way they failed to sell a third of a stand....
  7. Reading's plans are a bit pointless though. 24,000 is too big for them anyway.
  8. We just can't take advantage of times we're on top. Possession football is great.... if it has an end product.
  9. I would think he's going to end up in the coaching set-up. Very much a club stalwart and a loyal servant.
  10. I don't want to see Rickie wearing another team's colours.
  11. A walk along the Solent coast at Lepe is very nice. On a good day you get lovely views of the Isle of Wight. It's excellent British coastal scenery close to Southampton. I'd also recommend walking from Winchester to Shawford. Start off at the Cathedral and follow the Itchen. You'll pass St Cross and the almshouse and there'll be nice riverside scenery and some nice pubs when you get to Shawford.
  12. He just wasn't direct enough yesterday. I remember in League 1 he used to shoot from the edge of the area, not part of his game these days. He's also developing a reputation as injury prone. Still a very good player when he's had a prolonged spell in the side.
  13. The only saving grace is that we're still 3 points above the relegation zone. We have a seriously tough month though.
  14. I can't help thinking that some people here haven't been to any away games this season. Compared to most other teams our support is decent. We tried getting behind the team today, but they gave us precious little to work with by butchering every promising move with poor decision making.
  15. Chelsea try to operate in this part of Hampshire as well too. I'd imagine with less success. It's not the academy thing that concerns me, it's the community football aspect of it. This isn't Chelsea's community.
  16. Skates Online. I don't think it's right for Chelsea to be operating down here really, however they cloak it.
  17. I think he works for Chelsea's community football coaching and the skates have (quite rightly) turfed them out of portsmuff. I believe Chelsea have been trying to poach support and talent in Winchester as well and the world has enough glory hunters as it is.
  18. I got 105, missed some obvious ones though (Chaplow, Connolly), mostly some of the **** academy lads and loans from 07/08 and 08/09.
  19. I'm glad I brought so much joy to your life. Hopefully this happiness will help prevent you from getting so worked up that you fire off insults to people on the internet. Classy.
  20. Oh dear, sorry I offended you. I find it funny that you're more animated on here than you would be when actually 'supporting' the team. Nice one.
  21. Too many Chapel types there as well. We were miles better than the home support though.
  22. Probably a deserved defeat in the end. We sat back too much after going ahead and let them take the initiative. Sissoko was an absolute beast, strong and fast. The referee was pretty bad, gave them everything. It was a penalty though and Fox really changed the game in favour of Newcastle. It was great to see Rickie's hundredth goal. That alone made me glad to be there. The Geordies were very friendly before the game, good banter and non-intimidating. Made for a good experience. I found the home fans to be very subdued even when 4-2 up, which was unexpected. It was almost as if they weren't sure where their hardcore support was. Premier League atmospheres are a disappointment. In fact it seems that however much we slate our home support sometimes, St Mary's has some of the best home support in the league.
  23. Doesn't really work as a limerick.
  24. It sounds like he has some personal experience, not sure what side of the door though. He definitely hits the mark though, rehabilitation and prison education are both ****.
  25. It'll be at least 1800, and that's impressive enough.
