  1. Don't know if it was posted elsewhere but Ricky v Eng Strikers http://www.eplindex.com/30011/rickie-lambert-england-stats-compared-rooney-sturridge-defoe-welbeck.html
  2. Taken from the West Ham page on http://www.whoscored.com/ West Ham Style Atempt crosses often Take a lot of shots Long balls Play with width Control the game in the opposition's half Attacking down the left Aggressive Play the offside trap
  3. woke up early at 4am and started reading the post match reactions thread and thought I'd not seen alpine on the post match threads for a while so decided to do a bearsy esq "investigates". Seems Alp's hasn't posted on any our of our victory threads since 16th march which seems contrary to his last post on one below. So does Alps only come out when negativity is needed ? or will this post elicit some awesomeness 16th March Thread: Saints 3 Liverpool 1 - Post Match Reactions by alpine_saint Replies 275 Views 18,950 Poll: I agree, but lets try to make sure we dont throw... I agree, but lets try to make sure we dont throw any more silly points away that may be critical. Btw, win, draw or lose, I post my reaction after EVERY game. Not my fault some of you only look...
  4. hahahahaha thanks
  5. I've got spackman I think and he is pro reading, the other commentator completely disagreed when he thought it was a stonewall penalty for Reading. Interestingly I also have Brian Mcdermott as guest at half time, incest.
  6. Vanishing girls caught my attention
  7. Boooommmm Article to accompany above diagram with same commentary as most of the above. http://footballspeak.com/post/2012/02/01/Marcelo-Bielsa-An-Enigma.aspx
  8. All those months ago of me posting Biesla and chile's tactics have paid off for you, gonna dig that bad boy out and re-post
  9. Some more on the Bleacher report - http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1593564-mauricio-pochettino-how-his-tactics-at-southampton-are-taking-out-the-big-boys
  10. Looking ahead a few years i reckon this will be most of you.
  11. Hang on I've seen her before in a somewhat nastier place than LA
  12. Am I crazy but would lambert, Rodriguez and lallana be not a bad forward 3 for England.
  13. I really hate managers who call up players who are sh*t but because they are playing a big clubs they get picked, Saw the below stat earlier about the premier league for Ricky v Welbeck Chances created: Lambert - 62. Welbeck - 18. Chance conversion: Lambert - 67%. Welbeck - 25%. Goals: Lambert - 13. Welbeck - 1. Another few: Lambert- 13 PL goals. Rooney- 11 goals. Defoe- 10 goals. Sturridge- 4 goals. Welbeck- 1 goal.
  14. The reason we lost the game is this. Southampton were excellent and played better than us. Well done Saints and bad day at the office for the reds. Noone needs to get sacked or sold. Sometimes in football you get beat. It's just that our poor start to the season has left us needing the impossible. http://forums.liverpoolfc.com/threads/334192-Southampton-Liverpool-POST-MATCH-THREAD?p=8823986#post8823986 Only time i check someone else forum is after a win.
  15. Ok undisclosed, thought to be between 16-20m according to wiki, I will take that back then, imagine if we spent that much on Forren and left him out.
  16. Oh I thought he cost about 23m, where is a statto when you need one
  17. Am gonna guesstimate that Henderson who is on their bench cost about the same as our team and subs.
  18. hahahahahhahaha my bad
  19. Against Jos it will be like warthogs being marked by a giraffe, hahaha yeah fair point but they aren't going to get the ball as our forwards and midfield will press making them hoof it up field where the giraffe comes into his own. Just to round off the animal usage, Morgan is our Honeybadger, runs all day, fearless and just doesn't give a f*ck. I am the Attenborough of saintsweb
  20. If liverpool continue their buying policy they will give the 7 dwarfs a run for their money. Don't think any of the front 3 are too fast so will be interesting, doesnt suarez become an inside right forward when sturridge plays so he is against luke. Should be good
  21. Oh god I'd forgotten about the cr*p summariser us sun dwellers get, most of them see the game as well as stevie wonder.
  22. Thought I better put the bench up then - Southampton substitutes: K. Davis (GK), Fonte, S. Davis, Forren, Ward-Prowse, Guly, Puncheon
  23. Tres attacking non ? I expect to see our front 4 all swapping positions and sides surely ?
  24. Southampton team: Boruc, Clyne, Yoshida, Hooiveld, Shaw, Schneiderlin, Cork, Lallana ©, Ramírez, Rodriguez, Lambert.
