Or Toby Alderweireld List of Athletico squad but I think Gaston is off on loan. http://www.whoscored.com/Teams/63

Obviously buying Costa hahaha

I like the idea of Guarin, he's an attacking central midfielder who has a average 7.49 rating on whoscored for this season, would keep Osvaldo though and go for a cash deal for Fredy.

Each premier league position has about 800k difference in prize money, we are a fair bit behind at the mo the next position and a few points ahead of the next place, from a EPL only perspective whoever we bought I don't think would create enough value in the next few months to advance us higher up the league to recoup some of the outlay for the higher fee we would probably have to pay. As untrendy as it is I would be happy to get a fit Vic, Osvado, Boruc and keep everyone else fit for a couple of months to see how we will do and then see what the opportunities are for us in the summer when we will know as a club where we stand and what the next steps are.

What's he meant to say, "yeah we are going to be buying 2 players, 1 CB and 1 AM", under pressure managers during the season like to court fan favour in Jan by stating they are looking to bring in people to get the fans off their back (Fat Sam/Hughes) and put pressure on the chairman etc instead and they become the source of complaints with the manager going back to the old cliche "I didn't get the backing" etc etc. Since Cortese has come in we have tried to deny all rumours and statements regarding transfers and put out a clear message we are not a selling club as it is not productive to get involved in the rumour mill which equates to open season for football writers. If decisions have been made by the committee then Cortese is actioning them enabling MoPo to focus on the team and try and negate queries on signings etc. as a clear message has been sent to the press we have no intention of doing business. (who cares if we lie to the press) The winter transfer window in the premier league is unlike any other window as its the window of the desperate, the last chance saloon, those that need to throw the dice for CL places or relegation avoidance where the outlay is worth the rewards, we are currently in neither predicament. We do need improvements but are we in such dire straits that we will over pay to get them, I think not, I would suggest if we do purchase in this window it is either due to a deal to be had in a position we need strengthening that was a not possible for the selling club in the summer (i.e Astori) or the club believe a certain player familiar with our system and robustness of the league would add significant value for the remainder of the season (my wish Banega). Thought you might be interested at Cortese's form for all transfers dealings since he has been in charge (http://www.soccerbase.com). Total Signings - 33 signings 21 Summer Signings 11 Winter Signings 1 Youth Signing 2009/10: Takeover Season - Building the team League 1 6 Summer Signings 5 Jan Signings 2010/11: League 1 1 Summer signing 2 Winter signings 1 Youth in April (Stephens) 2011/12: Champs 4 Summer signings 3 Winter signings 2012/13: Premier League 7 Summer signings 1 Winter signing (Forren) 2013/14: Premier League 3 Summer signings (spent 36 million) ???? Yeah Avram at Chelsea v Avram at West Ham -
Bummer but I can sort of understand the police's nervousness as bombs were going off everywhere weren't they. Doesn't help his mum poor ****er but I do agree there are some dodgy ****s in the police, they **** up and then lie through their arse. Have a easier time feeling sorry for this dude going to work than a known north London gangster whose mum said he was shy. It's a bit like Chris browns mum saying he had a way with the ladies, utter bull****.
-
Agree with Baz, all the bombs had been going off and if some dude doesnt stop for the police then I'm ok with them putting him down, survival of the fittest. Anyway we seem to be a bit more indignant about some known gangster than some soldier out for a pizza who had 2 guys try and saw his head off.
-
**** him, trying to act all hard and be a gangster, you can't out run a heckler and koch mp-5. Personally harder police action in London would stop a lot of the wannabe gangsters. Sometimes I think we are too free in our country and have gone too liberal. But then again I live in South Africa and these clowns would be getting shot or getting a necklaced by their next door neighbors who don't put up with **** in gangsters paradise,

Been wasting some time and thought I would check out the south american leagues and looked for some articles that would highlight the best most talented youngsters to be playing on the continent who could adapt to our league. Had already done some research on the below 2 before I found this article, I can't remember who our south american expert is but would be interested in the opinion on these dudes, am liking Balenta and Lanzini but reckon they are $$$$. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1693462-6-of-the-best-south-american-players-you-possibly-havent-heard-of-yet

Indoor skydiving: http://www.sentosa.com.sg/en/attractions/beaches/ifly-singapore/ Megazip: http://www.sentosa.com.sg/en/attractions/imbiah-lookout/megazip-adventure-park/ Also plenty of beach bars to drink and have lunch in afterwards, also I wouldn't walk anywhere as it's always humid as **** and taxi's are cheap as chips.

I came into this thread thinking we was discussing Glasgow being Barry or at the least that 1 photo of tokes making the beast with 2 backs with his father in law but I have not been disappointed with what I found, classic double pump action yoghurt shotgun for the ladies

I suppose it will entirely depend on where Poch see's where the biggest problem is, either Centre Half or Central Attacking Midfielder, create goals or defend goals. Currently on the defend goals view but would not argue if we got a attacking midfielder, if we got a right back i would say poch needs to be certified

Look at Barca they have a pre-ordained policy of buying midfielders with the intention of using them as ball playing centre halve's, Song, Mascherano etc
