This thread should be a sticky imo. Makes me feel a huge sense of pride about our club. Well worth reminding the spirit of belief. Wish i was there.

Agreed, click on the this link if you want to show your appreciation to Chris Marsden. Much under rated player and we did get the chance to say thanks. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=34015980653&ref=ts

FA to investigate a "reported missing £40m"
Blanco Saint replied to Fitzhugh Fella's topic in The Saints
Have to agree about saggypus. He had the most negative attitude about our squad, did nothing but undermine any belief that was around(which was minimal) most of it squeezed from the dressing room week after week. Would be interesting to hear some different opinions written in books by those involved. How many of us would like to read Wuperts own 'mein Kampf' (spell?) would not be able to buy it, but would love to read what was going on in Captain Ego's brain? -
This if true is the worst possible news and would be a disaster imo. We need unity!! Please F$£K off Lowe and leave our club alone. Can some one make this story go away now? it's ruining my sunday, after a ruined saturday week/month/year supporting Saints.

Please could a helpful Saint point me in the right direction of a radio link? Would be most grateful.

Yes there would be a playoff game which would be held at Wembley. Match would be finished on that day, going to penalties after extra time if required. Saints would be allocated free tickets for members or season ticket holders with the letter 'm' in their name or the numbers '7' and '4' in their home (not mobile) phone numbers. Maximum allocation of free tickets is 5,049. It is unlikely that we will get to this situation, however, if we do, BE LUCKY.

I heard the interview and at best it was embarrassing. Must be available on listen again or Iplayer if your desperate to experience the pain? It aired at around 7.15pm last night (thursday). It left me feeling that we have one of two hopes at avoiding this penalty, one of them is Bob and the other..........

Meeting Thurs 23rd with Trust, SISA, Saveoursaints, 2 MPs, LM and MC
Blanco Saint replied to derry's topic in The Saints
This is madness. What about the needs of the Season Ticket Holder? 5p off a pint a pie for season ticket holders. Priority toilets for season ticket holders. Thicker toilet paper etc. Softer seats for season ticket holders. There is no way that I would ever imagine backing these ideas. Good luck to anyone who is willing to help save our club. Im not sure the above points are going to cut it. -
Our main hope is that this league continues to through curve ball random results and allow us to win our last two games. Some how unlikely, we would not deserve them, but hey ho. That is the tiny thread that i shall be attaching myself too. You can try to hold on too, but if your to heavy the thread may snap, beware.:smt018

Oh dear. Was it worse than that toothless display at Bristol Rovers in the cup last season?

Just heard from a friend that Rupert will do the lap on his own next week. Apparently he is ready to take an ovation from the Saint Mary's faithful for the tremendous work and effort he has put in for many years. I feel a man so humble, forward thinking and honest really should get the respect he deserves. Apparently he is looking to borrow the pope mobile if available. Don't ask me to reveal the source, you just have to trust me.

Have i missed a trick? One of the best features of this site (IMO) was the 'Saints news on demand' where is it now? Can we pay £5 each to bring it back?

I listened to the last part of the service at Anfield today on 5 live, saw a few bits on the news tonight and read the vews on this thread. What really resonates with me, is that this was a football/human disaster and i found it hard not to feel very tearful and reflective. We are all football fans and therefore share and shared something with all those who were involved in this disaster. It seems totally surreal that you could send your son or daughter to a Saints game and never see them again? and there death would have been largely avoidable. How would you have felt 20 years ago if this happened? And how do you think you would feel now?

I love spring, I feel it is perhaps the most dramatically diverse of our seasons. Not sure why this post is here but am enjoying it just the same. Should it go to the 'Golden Shower' post? or is that a differentt scene all together? -
It will be melted down and made into scrap web forums. If you crash your own web forum and are looking for a spare part then this maybe of use to you? A saving on the regular price of new forum, good condition parts for the eagle eyed saver. One mans cloud etc.:smt119

I was watching Saints that day, it was West Ham away. I remember the stadium announcer saying something about the incident, i think he said 4 people had been killed, which, obviously sounded very shocking at the time. As we left the game there was a crush and scramble for the exits, probably no different than normal but some how sent a panic to the terraces and became very scary with the news that was filtering through. I recently read a sunday papers very vivid accounts of that awful day at hillsborough, written from many different perspectives. It left me feeling traumatised, especially the accounts from a mother who never saw her son again after sending him off to a footie game and the guy who was counting down the secounds remaining in his life(or so he thought) before the gates to the pitch were opened saving his life. The portrayal from the Sun newspaper was truely awful. It has given me a greater respect of Liverpool Fc and as mentioned before it could have been any of us. Peace up.
