P*ss off mate, my Itchen ticket went up 31% last year! Dreading this seasons prices! We're not all rolling in it, and travel costs have gone up too for all of us who have to travel to home games, not being a Southampton resident anymore.

I live in the midlands area too, am a season ticket holder and spent a bloody fortune travelling to 23 home league games and home cup games but don't claim to be a better fan. Don't just assume season ticket holders believe they are all high and mighty over the rest of our clubs supporters.

The earlier you book, the cheaper they are normally. Try and book single journeys not a return that generally works out cheaper and early morning and late night trains are normally cheaper than mid morning and late afternoon trains.

No you're not alone in thinking that. The whole ground giving him a standing ovation would indicate how much we've all taken to him and his efforts. Never gives up on anything which is great to see. He has it all to be a real crowd favourite for many years to come. I'm already a big fan.

Saints official site clearly states match will be Saturday 17th at 5.20pm. I'll be honest, I'd be pretty hacked off if it's changed now as I've literally just booked train tickets to come down to watch it at this time!
