Austin has scored 7 in last 11 starts and played great on Saturday, scored twice, so guess what, he's dropped!!! Long hasn't scored since Feb but starts...... Ward-Prowse was excellent Saturday, so guess what, Dropped!!!! Tadic had a good game Saturday, 1 goal, 1 assist, guess what, that's right, ****ing dropped!!!!! No wonder players want to leave!! We have waited ages for goals, finally get 4 on Saturday, and he drops the best players that score and create the goals. Madness. Hope we ****ing lose now

Great positive attitude there. What is the point of even sending up a side to Manchester if we have 'no chance'. For ****s sake, no wonder our players can't wait to leave with supporters attitude like this. Where is your fighting spirit man? Rubbish!! Is this the same Long that hasn't scored in 20+ games? We might only get one chance against City and if it falls to Austin he is more likely to take it. Save Long for last 15 mins. This. He was excellent. Always gives 100% and is proud to wear the shirt, surely it's all we ask for? I thought him and Austin & Tadic linked up well, but PEH in midfield was awesome. A great team effort, ok, against a very very poor side, but I can see light at the end of the tunnel again. Feeling positive for the first time in a long time!

I have been crying out for ages to get Austin a start, and finally he does, and what a difference! Such a natural goal scorer, his positioning is brilliant and he caused problems the whole game. A class player who has scored goals everywhere throughout his career. And lets not forget, our top scorer last season. Not to play him is a crime

I was at Anfield yesterday and it was horrific. We were never in the game. We never competed. It was like men against boys. Liverpools defence will not have an easier game all season. The score could have been anything Liverpool wanted it to be, but thankfully they went easy on us second half. It was honestly like a training match for Liverpool at times. Utterly clueless from manager and coaching staff. Tactics? Desire? Passion? All sadly lacking. This season has all the signs of our relegation season in 2005. I for one wouldnt even care if we went down, just bored of it all now
