  1. Makes more sense than our current manager, thats a fact
  2. I actually don't mind losing away to the likes of Chelsea and City as long as the right starting 11 is selected, players are motivated & organised, and they give 100% The only person talking any sense right now is old Dave Merrington
  3. I'm looking at our recent tally of points, not what odds bookmakers are offering. I am being realistic but if you want to live in denial then fine
  4. Wasted their money by the looks of it lol
  5. So you are confident that we will stay up then? Cos I'm not
  6. Clearly the board won't sack MoPo as they would have to sack themselves also! So we stick with him and get relegated, new manager in the Summer and hopefully a good clear out. Personally, I think it's time to employ an English manager again, someone with passion that we can actually understand what he's saying. A full clear out of back room staff is a must. Players out: (assuming VVD & Betrand **** off in January) Forster, Tadic, Long, Boufel, the guy who couldn't get a game at relegated Norwich, oh yeah, Redmond Austin & Gabi would destroy defences in the Championship. Hopefully we can hang on to the others but surely Cedric will go. I would make Yoshi captain alongside Stephens. Looking forward to seeing Targett & Mcqueen and also Josh Sims in the starting line up. We have a lot to be positive about despite being relegated. I'm only interested in signing players that WANT to wear the shirt. We have been let down badly since our return to the top flight with players who are either here for the money, or can't wait to leave at the earliest opportunity. Fed up with it.
  7. 4 years ago we were 2nd in the table. To say we are going backwards is an understatement! Its just no fun being a Saints fan right now. No entertainment, no passion, no desire, no leaders, shall I go on??? We ARE better then this!! Clear out needed next season in Championship
  8. Play your best starting 11. Simple. Not rocket science. How many "top 6" sides leave their top scorer on bench? None! I'm sorry, but we need a manager that shows some ambition, and some intent on winning games of football. Some passion and desire. I honestly think I couldnt do a worse job than this clown. HAS to be sacked in morning
  9. Just a reminder, 4 years ago we were sitting second in table
  10. Just start the game with your best players (eg Austin) and who knows what happens. Too negative, too cautious, too many changes, sacked in the morning hopefully
  11. Forster couldn't catch a cold
  12. We need goals to win matches, where are the goals coming from in that line up? Or does he not want to win the game? I hope I'm proved wrong come 5pm but not confident
  13. Clueless
  14. Austin on the bench ffs
  15. Thats ****ed my bet up!! Thanks Puel
  16. 0-2 to Palace
  17. Forster must be dropped for this one. Pathetic "goalkeeping" for goals 2 and 3 against Leicester
  18. Is he though? Has looked half arsed all season
  19. Excellent post
  20. His performance with Ricky Gervais on Extras was just brilliant, genius. Check out the bloopers on youtube, one of the funniest things on the internet! RIP Cheggers
  21. Felt like a defeat at full time. Austin was incredible, worked his socks off and could have even had a hatrick inside 10 mins. They just couldn't handle him. Second half was an embarrassment from the manager, we defended far too deep, almost inviting Arsenal to score, so it was no surprise when they did. Must be so frustrating to play for this guy wit such negative tactics, the Arsenal defense so poor we got behind them everytime we tried in the first half, 2 massive points dropped. The subs used were nothing short of bizarre. We all could see that Lemina needed to get on. This guy WILL get us relegated, mark my words. We have the players, time for a new manager.
  22. This. Happy days. Great memories. Was a better experience supporting Saints then compared to now. Nothing will compare to the Dell days for atmosphere and drama of course, but Nigel Adkins gave us fans great entertainment and excitement in his time here. But most of all, I liked his positive post match interviews. The last Saints manager that I could actually understand what he was saying. Fact
