Targett and Stephens only ones trying
-
They've walked in a second. Pathetic
-
We are simply clueless
-
So its all set up for Saints win, 1-0, Shane Long

Did anyone understand a single word our manger just said?

The appointment has been a disaster. Like others have said, I feel sorry for the guy. Totally out of his depth. The tactics are non existent, the players don't look interested. The fans are bored. This was not part of the plan, or indeed 'The Southampton Way' Clearly he needs to go, I am amazed he wasn't sacked after the Leicester debacle. There are probably 3 teams worse than us but I wouldn't gamble on it. We could be in the bottom 3 by the New Year and I simply don't trust most of our players in a relegation battle. Tadic again was pathetic yesterday in his attempt to feign injury. The guy needs to man up big time. The question is, who replaces him??
-
I agree with everything in this post apart from the bit about Koeman
-
Excellent and accurate post
-
Ha ha obviously didnt watch us in the dark days under Branfoot at The Dell lol. The big difference now though is the players aren't fit to wear the shirt
-
We were promised positive attacking football. We should demand a refund on our season tickets
-
Did anyone else understand a single word our manager said in his post match interview?? Must be sacked now
-
It staggers me how the club have allowed this situation to happen. If McCarthy isn't good enough to replace a clearly out of sorts Forster, what the hell is he doing here? What would happen if Forster had an injury? McCarthy would play then, so give him a go now. I can't imagine he is going to cost us as many points as Forster has this season
-
I don't like the guy, however, I really rate him as a manager and would take him in a heartbeat. He wouldn't come here though
-
Wouldn't touch him. Not welcome here. Move on
-
Man City will be ****ting themselves now! #wearecomingforyou #wemarchon #unleashed #top4finish
-
We just need a bit of passion like Bristol City had tonight
-
Is Mickey Evans still available? We could use him right now
-
Josh Sims, most exciting young player in a Saints shirt that I have seen in years. Can't wait for his return
-
Less than a month ago we beat Everton at home and were 4 points ahead of them. They are now 7 points in front of us. I am not a fan of Big Sam, but to see him on the touchline tonight, motivating his players, made we realise just what a **** poor manager we have ended up with this season

With relegation almost a certainty, who stays and who goes?

I'm not fat, but I am quite miserable lol The thread title was supposed to be quite tongue in cheek but it has sparked some very sensible comments -

The forum outlook is only gloomy because the club is so clearly going backwards. And we care. But I will continue you to support them and hope our form picks up. But I'm not confident -
This sums it up. A manager that I can understand would be a bonus

Get rid. Waste of space this season and no doubt a negative influence in dressing room and on training ground. He has made it quite clear he doesn't want to wear the shirt so quite why we are still including him in our match day squad is beyond me. It would be like my missus ****ging another bloke all Summer, but she tells me its all off *****il January) and expecting everything to be fine around the table for Xmas dinner

Very sensible post, backs up my concerns 100% Pat Nevin on 5live couldn't understand how negative we were, Chelsea were so average in first half we should have gone for it. It worked for West Ham
