2 snippets from the solent interview with atkins after the oldham game. asking about punch being ill atkins said that he didnt turn up for training sunday and they discussed his illness and called it then that he wouldnt be involved today. then solent's blackmore pushing further got the reaction to his question "do you think puncheon wants to play" atkins : "lets just put it this way, the wheels are in motion, the people that want to play are on the bus". then the interview ended. i dont want to over analyse but dont let the door hit your arse on the way out punch

he couldnt mate, he couldnt get away from the def who was holding him as you can see from those pics, if he had of gotten loose he wouldnt have had the stab of the foot (while falling backwards from the tug) but would have placed it most likely past the keeper, appauling decision, but nothing unexpected from d'urso.

it's not like no one has wanted him, he's turned down moves to lower CC and League clubs in hope of holding out for a decent paycheck @ a Prem or top end CC club, but yeah, dont think we need one, maybe next season as Jaidi's replacement.
