Everton look the more likely to score, but haven't really troubled the keeper.
Saints (not for the first time) can't strong two passes together. This is not a classic.
Someone needs to be brave and control the ball, not just punt it back to Everton.
It's just wave after wave of Everton attacks, with a long clearance and repeat.
Looks good.
Only question mark for me would be the two new guys on the left side of defense. Surely they'll try and exploit that early.
It's a big game for Mara, he's starting so needs to put in a good performance to claim that spot.
I wasn't optimistic about this one, but that team selection looks promising (on paper at least)
It's hard to be excited about this game. Everton are awful to watch, and Saints aren't much better.
Best we can hope for is two crap teams throw caution to the wind and play out an epic 4-3. Not likely but we can hope.
The two teams I follow, Saints and England, are now replicas of each other.
That's two Friday nights in a row I've watched the football and saw the same boring shite, no midfield, isolated striker, and a defence likely to make a mistake.
Lavia needs to come back soon.
That midfield was nonexistent, you could see that everytime the CBs had the ball, they had to go back to the keeper. There was nothing in front of them.
Awful, can't really find any positives apart from the young left back got on the pitch. Everything else was prettyich abject.
JWPs form needs to be addressed, we know he can't be dropped but he can't turn in performances like that without fear of being dropped.
