  1. Sammy lee has left apparently.
  2. I think it's Puel. Just a hunch.
  3. It's apparent that the conditions and criteria that the club have imposed on potential managers has hindered negotiations and rather limited its choice. Have we rejected Miss Chile cos her t!ts are too small? I hope we haven't hamstrung ourselves.
  4. I suppose Blanc is out of the question as he's only managed in France, yeah?
  5. S'posed to be an X in the box!
  6. So, Pellegrini, who would he bring with him? Cousillas joined Pellegrini at Manchester City as co-assistant, alongside Brian Kidd. So, no reason why he couldn't work alongside Sammy Lee. Kidd (other asst) and Mancisidor (GK coach) are staying at City. I don't know if Jose Cabello, the fitness coach, is staying or if he's a Pellegrini man. So, Pellegrini could justifiably bring Cousillas and Cabello with him, no?
  7. Oh right so you're CL if you score a goal. Edit: Top 4 should be snapping up Tony Watt then!
  8. So, ambrose, Ledley and commons played in that game too. Not what I'd call CL players either. Vic had a blinder that night but that's him all over. Doesn't do it every week.
  9. See ya vic. Over rated.
  10. Hey, I posted a tweet I saw that's all. Sorry, should've made that clear. It's not my info.
  11. L'Equipe reports that Rudi #Garcia will shortly be confirmed as the new manager of @SouthamptonFC
  12. how is it pronounced? Pool? Puel as in fuel? Pew-ell?
  13. Maybe Erwin and Jan are kicking up a stink and trying to persuade RK to make peace and stay?
  14. Emery for me. If RK goes.
  15. I don't believe for one second that Koeman would leave us for Everton or any club that isn't in a better position than us, ie Europa league or better. It just doesn't make sense. 100m wouldn't guarantee Everton EL season after next.
  16. 300k x 52 = 15,600,000 15m for one season....could be worth it. Just pay 10m up front as a signing on fee.
  17. Meh. Not bothered.
  18. I agree, but it's also worth considering a short term kind of signing like this. How many are excited at the prospect of Zlatan, who's 34? No chance of that happening imo. Before that you had the Ronaldinho rumours and Del Piero before that. Signing a good young prospect from the dutch league, etc, is all very well, but they take a year or two to settle in. A ready made player, in their 30's, might just make the difference between 6th and 4th. Don't disregard the influence of experience. Who knows? I don't think we'll go down that route personally, but it was just a thought.
  19. Would Carrick come here? Loads of experience in europe.
  20. Very good point, but who says you can't have 2 GKs on the bench? Edit: I'm not for it by the way, just curious enough to pose the question.
  21. Do we put SKD in goal if we're 3-0 up with 5 mins to go?
  22. Anyone watching on Kodi today? I've had trouble finding decent streams in there recently.
  23. That's Chelsea, I'm talking about Man U. I only mentioned Hughes cos somebody else said we got him from utd, via Chelsea.
  24. My point is, I'm not talking about utd players turning us down, or our wage offer not being enough, I'm talking about the fact that, in the PL era utd players have (mostly) been out of our league. We just don't shop there. You've confirmed that point in the sentence where you say the ONE AND ONLY.... You can't think of any other player we've wanted from united in 20 odd years? Do you really think that we'd not loved to have had any of them, in 20 years? Of course we would! But, as I say, out of our league. We're a massive step down to them. So, the point I'm trying to make is that transfers from utd to saints just don't (in the main) happen, and that point simply cannot be denied.
  25. Look at Hernandez (Chicharito)... we wanted him, he didn't wanna know.
