Guys, the guy in the picture is not Adnan Zanuzaj. It's my mate. Both out for dinner with our GF's and the waiter said 'Table 51 think you are Januzaj' we told them no, but a guy in a pink polo asked for a picture anyway. Quite funny and we had a joke with a fake signature as we left. We are both ST holders so don't want people getting worked up/wrong end of the stick. Didn't realise this is how the internet worked!!! Funny thing is my mate has is English with a Hampshire accent.

Just back and still wondering why I paid £41 plus travel plus beer/food etc for that. Worst we have played against the worst team we have played. Weirdly a point was fair though. Pelle, Tadic, Mane, Betrand all didn't have great games and I can only guess that Forster shouted for the through ball/goal. Over all, instantly forgettable. Maybe it will be Sky Sports for this type of game moving forward. Clyne, Fonte, Morgan all had respectable evenings.

I am working in the midlands that night and need to get home after, but there are no trains back after the game? Anyone want to save money on their petrol, has a spare seat in the car and would like me to contribute?

Brilliant Day. Bloody Long way and getting out of the car park took ages after the game. We enjoyed our time in The Walton Street Club before, which was literally something from Phoenix Nights. I thought Toby and Fonte were outstanding, they keep the ball so well as defend and share so many touches. Lucky to have both. Annoyingly didn't get back in time for MOTD as we are now consistently too high up the running order. "We're gonna win the league"

Bought 3 tickets to this last week, I know we had an initial allocation of 1,500. Do we think we will sell out? How many are expected to travel? Not been to the KC Stadium before, so any one who has been, do you have any tips for eating/drinking in and around the stadium?
-
Very sorry, now gone to a mate.
-
OK, no problem. Let me know if you have an email address I can contact you on to sort out the details?

I have a spare ticket now as I can not attend due to work commitments. If any body would like it for £10, drop me a message on here. Will need to meet in Bitterne to exchange after 2pm today though to pass it on, or Eastleigh Tuesday morning.

It was worth the £20 for entertainment but was generally quite an odd afternoon. I'm very pleased we had Jay Rod, Adam etc on the bench instead of all lads or we would have struggled. Ings had 2 further gilt edge chances for them, hit the post too. Jay Rod could have had a couple more, think we deserved to win ... Just. Hooiveld was awful, it's sad to see him get skinned by championship forwards when he did so much in the past. Now is definitely the time to invest in a new CB and tell Jos enough is enough, although we already knew this. Weirdly Gaston just walked off, leaving us down to 10 men for a couple minutes, not the acts of a great team man, we guessed he was injured? I think we may not see him again. Special mention for the ground staff, pitched was fine despite a torrential hammering.

Putting Paolo Futre into row C at Upton Park.

I apologise for such stupidity.

I believe Cork to be an all round better footballer, in a style of play where possession is key he gives the ball away less. I also believe he is fitter and anticipates better than Wanyama. The only counter claim would be that Wanyama is a stronger tackler and physical presence. I would have saved myself £12 million personally and stuck with Cork.

This is pretty much exactly as I saw it

I didn't go to the game as went to the Shergar Cup racing at Ascot instead. For £24 (£4 more than the Saints game), you got 6 quality races and a full concert after the racing. Entertainment from midday to 8pm. Not saying the concert was brilliant (Bloody Atomc Kitten were there!) but these kind of initiatives are a great way to get new people going to racing and surely could be something Saints could think about to fill the ground for pre season friendlies? Engage with a whole new set of fans etc? Works for racing. Watched the highlights but looked an entertaining match nonetheless.

Signed by the chairman don't think Adkins ever fancied Steve, having never seen him play (thats a fact and direct from the horses mouth). Nice bloke, always made time to have a chat, final delivery was his downfall, never quite strong enough. Sure he'll excel somewhere else where. His Dad was a lovely bloke too.

Well written post and point, I think the area has a lot to offer. Middlesbrough attracted some world stars in the mid 90's with an area that would best be described as 'indifferent'.

They were Popes you idiot

I enjoyed these days a lot more than today. I must have bought about 5 T-Shirts from 'Pirate Paul (or was it Pete's) stand as well. Bought the single with pride, in my eyes not gay at all. Just a different time.

Horses mouth, had a move to Crawley blocked as Saints wouldn't contribute to wages (his GF is an air hostess so Crawley near Gatwick was ideal). The extra 25k is payable on next appearance so won't play, can leave but only on Cortese's terms. Nothing good to say about Cortese, says he is on a power trip. Has never known any other chairman to act in the way Cortese does.

Have I missed something but where is Ben reeves in all the Pre season build up?

Started in the Upper Milton Road, moved to Archers when all seatered Dell, now in the Northam. I think Milton Road would be home, but Northam is close.

Spoke to Jos Hooiveld about him, when I bumped into him at Cineworld on Tuesday, squad no nothing about him as he was injured for the 2 days he was in the UK before. At that point as well had no idea where he was and when he was joining ... now I hope Jos knows.

Shall we all start a song about our least favorite song? That will be a really positive use of time. There are far worse songs, but most people only seem to like songs that have been ripped off Man Utd with only the smallest of variance.
