Teams who play out from the back properly avoid short passes and instead hit longer, hard hit passes along the ground - this is how you stretch opponents and pull them out of shape not with tippy tappy passes in and around your own penalty area.

Nobody with any nous sets a 10 year plan as it's far too long a time period which is going to result in many imponderables leading to the plan having to be torn up and changed.
