Amen to that - this hits home at the nub of the problem.

What was the score? I find it hard to believe that some people can't see we have gone from a team that was offensive and set out to try to win every game in the knowledge that three points is crucial to a side that is set up purely not to lose. Check how many points we won away in the past three seasons. We need to be more gung-ho and less conservative because Puel's tactics are clearly not working especially away from St Marys.
-
When will this clown of a manager stop being so stubborn and admit that we need to play with two up front? Do that and we might start scoring more goals and winning more matches.
-
Tell me, what was the score again?
-
We lost in case you haven't realised yet.

I'm totally bored with Puel now and his complete inability to set this team up with any sort of chance to win/draw consistently away from home. He sets us up not to lose when he should be setting us up to try to win. It is utterly negative dross. We have had a few seasons where the coaches appreciated that you have to go all out to win every game including the away matches because getting the three points is a big deal. Puel is incapable of trying to win by going for it away from the comfort of St Marys. The man is like his football - utterly drab and boring. Missed chances and goalkeeping errors don't help but it's the negativity that does for us every time.

After the effort put in tonight I think CP will make at least 3-4 changes. Don't agree with it but he's never wavered from the constant rotation.
-
Edgy first 20 minutes but then grew in confidence and caused them plenty of problems. Redmond worked his socks off and I think the only really bad miss was the one in the first half when he should have tucked it into the corner so the keeper couldn't reach it. Liverpool will be mighty relieved to have kept the deficit to a single goal. If we apply the same effort and concentration though we may sneak the tie over the two legs. Thought we deserved more than the one goal so credit to the team and CP for a much improved performance.

What he said! Twas ever thus - settled sides win more matches and play better at a consistently higher level than those that are chopped and changed every week. It's not rocket science. Build cohesion, match fitness, understanding and the wins will follow. Continual rotation is the road to sloppy, un-coordinated football because you cannot possibly expect to build team spirit and that instictiveness that all the best teams display.

Absolutely criminal to leave Naismith unmarked at that stage of the game - there were enough of our players in the box but unfortunately most of them were marking each other.

Well I'm sure when he checks his wage slip each month he is sure to cheer up - poor lamb.

What a load of rubbish.

It's not easy to tell after what Puel has done through his exsessive rotation. However, we do have a best 1X and Puel should know it and start selecting it week in week out or we are going to continue to field teams that look like a bunch of strangers thrown together.
-
This rotation thing to conserve energy is working like a dream isn't it! Pick a side, stick to it and get some consistency.
-
Er, it was already 2-0 then dinlow.
-
Rightly so, the buck stops with the manager.
-
That's right, it's nothing to do with our highly paid manager is it!
-
And the collapse is complete. Thanks Puel, you are ruining our team.
-
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
-
As I said!!!!
-
You're expecting to see a response - Puel will be looking for damage limitation.
-
So predictable.
-
Well, I certainly didn't expect to see Clasie and JWP in the same midfield. Is Romeu 'Superman' in disguise - how come he never gets rotated? Just proves the whole thing is nothing more than a joke.

Followed swiftly by an appearance in a Christmas 'Pointless' special!
