Nothing mind bending there then although he's clearly on the same page as RM regarding Taylor. No KWP.
-
More importantly, has he got another job yet? Some thought the big boys of Europe would be queuing up for his services.
-
It'll be interesting to see whether Rusk gives a game to any of the youngsters particularly Sam Amo. Also, will he start Tall Paul up front. Just hoping it's not a complete re-hash of Russball. Even if we lose let's at least try something different.

Don't try to be everyone's best mate.
-
Do we have any guesses on what second the first Liverpool goal will be scored tonight?
-
Nah, we don't train Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
-
Not sure about that. The word was SR hadn't been looking for a replacement because they intended to stick with RM. Obviously this all changed on Sunday out of the blue - I reckon Dragan was watching the Spurs game and, after the 4th goal went in, he was straight on the blower to Rasmus saying he wanted Martin gone.

I share your concerns but who else at the club did you expect would be tasked with sourcing our next manager? There is not one person currently working for the club with a shred of credibility when it comes to handling this very important decision. We should probably be appointing an experienced Director of Football and leaving him to come up with a list of candidates. There is no rush because we are going to be relegated whichever way you cut it. Do the job properly and you might not be doing it again in another 9 months 😞

Don't think it would all be so pally pally at training.
-
Surely that would be classed as rocket science 🙂
-
He's been asked to do too much which is not his fault. Downes should have been played in a double pivot in front of the back four.
-
He's being better coached now so no surprise that he is improving.
-
Hopefully whoever takes over will make their first job assessing fitness levels - I reckon they'll be in for a rude awakening. It's all been far too pally pally and not treated with the professionalism needed judging by the way we run out of steam. As someone else pointed out Bmuff players run and chase for the whole game and are still going strong until the final whistle - they put us to shame.
-
That's the way it should be - these guys are paid astronomical amounts and should be made to go through the pain barrier to get them in tip top condition. We are clearly way below fitness levels of our opponents and that's yet another example of the bunch of misfits and amateurs who are running our club.
-
If true it's just another example of how useless they are - SR seems to be in a constant shambles. RM maybe gone but we probably aren't going to improve much until this shower are out of the door too.
-
Not sure you can because you'll be working the players so hard they'll not be match fit when games come along thick and fast. I would imagine Poch eased the double training session in gradually so they could probably do that. The hard yards should have been done pre-season and, if they weren't there's no excuse for that.
-
I had exactly the same concerns. The players had yesterday off and with a game tomorrow under a new coach I'd have expected them to have met up and trained this morning. I guess they know what they're doing 🙂

This is known as hitting the nail on the head.
-
That's a big plus as far as I'm concerned.
-
As Trousers said the leading horse is probably Minella Trump.
-
if it is Rohl I wonder if we'll recall Shea Charles in January. He must be an improvement on our other defensive midfielders.
-
He's been appointed and fired at many clubs, like a lot of managers I guess. No surprise to see Wolves opt for a Portuguese coach.
-
He had little or no part in Brentford's rise under Thomas Frank because the brains doing all the heavy lifting belonged to Phil Giles. Ankersen is happy to let people believe he played a major role but he is just basking in reflected glory which should surprise nobody given how poorly he has done for our football club. He's part of our problem not the solution.
