  1. This was the first time we've shipped 5 goals under Juric - his first two games it was 1 and 2. Let's not blame him for hammerings under the previous clown.
  2. Are you being serious 🙂 RM had us conceding goals for fun, it's not something we've just started doing.

    Ivan Juric

However good he is he'll only be able to have a limited impact. It's well known that if you don't put in the hard yards pre-season you can't catch up while playing competitive games. This is one of Martin's legacies I'm afraid and we're stuck with it. If anyone needs proof of how lax it was just look at the constant days off from training and the fact that RM had given them Xmas day off despite having a Boxing Day match. We've been run like a pub team by SR, the manager and coaches so no surprise that we resemble one on the pitch.
  4. Spot on, this is down to RM and his coaches who have left us with a bunch of unfit players who are conditioned to play walking football, not break at pace, not play between the lines, not mark, not tackle or press and not win football matches. This will take some turning round and won't be done during the season when games come thick and fast and probably not while the clowns at SR are running the show and making the decisions. It's a perfect storm I'm afraid so prepare to batten down the hatches because the next few months are going to be ugly.
  5. Well they've given themselves 10 years so they don't need to rush out a statement now.
  6. It's a 10 year plan apparently 🙂
  7. Presumably they are being told this by his agent.
  8. I'd bring him back and buy a defensive midfielder as well to give us more cover and to strengthen the side.
  9. You are probably right but we'd have expected much better and at least to have been still in with a slim hope at this stage of the season. By being so enthralled with his own vanity project he turned this season into a car crash and an embarrassment very early on. It didn't have to be this way if not for RM's foolishness.
  10. It's a legacy of RM's pre season training and is affecting the whole squad. I heard Troy Deeney on Talk Sport when they were discussing Man Utd's lack of fitness and he said anytime he missed some pre season training due to injury he always really struggled. We continue to pay the price for incompetence by RM and his coaches.
  11. And he's the same guy who laid the ground for certain relegation.
  12. Brentford looking lively tonight.
  13. Got it. So if a club offers 33 million or more Real Betis are obliged to sell. Anything below 33 million and negotiations take place.
  14. Not sure you have got that right. I think if we want him we'll have to pay the 33 million release clause but I'm sure you're going to come back and explain why I've got it wrong.
  15. Seems we are rumoured to be interested in Real Betis star Sergi Altimiri at 33 million Euros 🙂 Looks very decent and is 6'2 but not sure we'd pay such big bucks or that he'd want to come to a club which is certain to be relegated. One other Premier League club showing interest which I think is Ipswich. Click bait for sure.
  16. Wonder if Plymouth will be interested in the bloke with his own vanity project just waiting to be foisted on another load of suckers.
  17. In words that you will recognise very well, 'You did not answer my question'
  18. Seems he wasn't good enough for Sunderland so should we care about this?
  19. Why would any of us on here wish to listen to a message from Ankersen to the fans of Goztepe?
  20. The funny thing is, Giles stayed and Brentford continued to advance whereas Ankersen left and has been a disaster for us. Indicates to me who was the real brains at Brentford but maybe Rasmus has just been unlucky 🙂
  21. Wow, didn't expect the response to be so quick 🙂
  22. Any minute now and you'll be told you have completely missed the point. The countdown starts now.
  23. Thanks
  24. More capacity would be great but Bmuff are a fine example proving that what you have on the pitch is more important than how many you have sat in the stands. I'm sure they'd love a new stadium but right now their team is streets ahead of ours. And I get that you are now going to completely rubbish the way I've argued my point so fire away 🙂
  25. So the obvious question is whether it's sensible to do it now in terms of a financial decision? Sounds like it will cots the club a huge amount of money at a time when fans are not confident about the direction the club is travelling in. What we don't want is a 'white elephant' in the form of a bigger capacity stadium that ends up being half empty. I'm not against expanding but I don't think now is the time.
