  1. Of course I've renewed, I'm a Saints fan! I go to watch my team, whatever league they're in. The good days make the bad days worth while. Back in the Dell days I always wanted to be a season ticket holder, so now I've got one I'm not giving it up, no matter what. I wanted to be a shareholder as well, just one share would do. I realise that that is now not possible. See you all in August!
  2. Of course I renewed my season ticket. Even after last seasons poor showing I couldn't not renew. Saints may not be the best team in the world, but as far as I'm concerned they're the only team in the world.
  3. Booked a week in the sun to celebrate my Birthday. Flying out Monday 17th September. I thought there was a chance that the Brighton game may get moved to the Sunday, but never considered it would get moved to the Monday. Thank you sky, as inconsiderate as ever!
  4. So hard to pick just one out of so many. Matthew Le Tissier, Stevie Williams, Peter Osgood, Terry Hurlock, Jimmy Case, Ron Davies, John McGrath, Micky Channon, Charlie George, Neil Ruddock, Alan Shearer, Mark Dennis, Anti Niemi, Fabrice Fernandez, Ricky Lambert etc etc But my vote goes to Ivan Golac
  5. I've just received an email from the club that is headed "Wear your colours for Wembley". When I clicked on to the link it took me to the Official Online Store, where I could purchase the Saints replica shirts. Great I thought. There was the home kit, the away kit & the goalkeepers kit. But correct me if I'm wrong, Saints are playing in the 3rd choice kit at Wembley, which is white shirts. The club have missed a big money making opportunity here. But what do I know!
  6. Southampton 1 Liverpool 0, yes you heard it right, Southampton 1 Liverpool 0. To all of you, so called Saints fans/plastic scousers on here, who were predicting/wanting a big Liverpool win, I say "Up Yours!" Whilst a narrow 1-0 win may not be enough to spoil the media's dream of a Man Utd v Liverpool final, I thought that Saints fully deserved the win. So let's enjoy the win & march on to the next game.
  7. How can you call yourself Saints foreva and the say 3-0 to Liverpool? I understand that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but your negativity astounds me. I for one will be right behind our team from the first whistle. We March On.
  8. I think that's how we all think!
  9. That's a very good price. The Swansea Ibis is costing us £119 for the two nights, but this includes breakfast. Money well spent seeing another Saints win!
  10. I'm going to make a weekend of it. Drive up sometime on Friday & return Sunday. The Budget hotels aren't as cheap as they could be, but as it's my first away game for nine years sod the expense. Anyone know the best pubs for before & after the game?
  11. I must admit that I was not too optimistic about this game, especially after last seasons nil-nil bore. But JWP's early goal set us on course for an easy win. The defence was hardly tested & it was great to have the big man back in goal again. You could see the confidence that he instills is priceless. My MOM was Davis. Although Vic & Matty Targett weren't far behind. A different team than a few weeks ago. We March On!
  12. I've seen quite an impressive showing from Saints fans from Belgium at the Stoke City game. Maybe their not as fickle as those from Holland!
  13. Instead of imposing ourselves on the game & playing our way, we tried to play their way & failed miserably. Hopefully we have learned from our European experience!
  14. In my humble opinion it has to be Steven Davis, who just shades it from Nathaniel Clyne!
  15. Whenever we think that we've turned the corner & back on track, along comes another bad performance. Saturdays match was never going to be easy, but it was winnable. The return of Redknapp was always going to be a tense affair, but for f*cks sake, there was no fight. Saints went down with hardly a whimper. We are in a relegation dog-fight, that's for sure. So let's all pull together & support the team. COYR
  16. At home against the bottom team! There's only one acceptable outcome & that's a comprehensive victory for our heroes! COYR
  17. I reckon it's gonna be £600+. But with skyTV dictating when games are to be played it ain't gonna be worth it. But, of course I'll renew!
  18. However you're feeling right now, it will get worse! But it will be worth it in the Premier League. Kick-off times all over the place because Sky TV own English football! Incompetent referee's replaced by corrupt referee's!
  19. In my opinion David Connolly is the most natural goalscorer the club has had for many years!
  20. While, as a Saints fan & Season Ticket holder, I agree with what you're saying. But I can't help thinking what it would have been like if the roles had been reversed. If it had been Saints that had been relegated, would you want to go to Saints last game in the Championship? Maybe you wouldn't have, but there would have been a lot who would have wanted to be there! Just saying, that's all! COYR
  21. Believe!
  22. We always miss Hammond when he isn't there. So it's gotta be Hammond for me!
  23. It's time to put up or shut up! I realise that there's only three points at stake, but after a rather indifferent few weeks, Saints have got to take games by the scruff of the neck. This is a bloody good one to start with. Let's start the run-in from now! COYR
  24. It's their cup final, where as, to us, it's just another game on the way to the Premier League. I refuse to believe that Saints won't win. Our class & desire will overcome their huff & puff! COYR
  25. The FA usually select a local player to drum up support for the game!
