Couldn't make it either Why did they only let you have 1 ticket if your on the database? None of my mates are saints fans so AREN'T on the database and by the time they went on general sale they had all gone. Anyway glad they won - I went to the ZDS final in '92 so nice to see us win at wembley today! Been to Merribel skiing is Dicks tea bar still there??

Saints v Hartlepool first half, halftime and second half thread.

from BBC website Football League Danny: "Here's a phrase it's just easier to save somewhere, then cut and paste it when you need it - 'Rickie Lambert has scored for Southampton'. They now lead Hartlepool 2-1, Lambert's now notched 30 goals for Saints this season (plus another one early on for Bristol Rovers). He's the first Saint to achieve that in 33 years, apparently." -
and a depleted Swindown as well - please tell me that Swindown aren't going to do the double over us - it's a bigger upset than Man Utd losing to Burnley!!

huddersfield 1- 3 norwich

I found all our defeats hard to swallow but this one puzzles me - we must have played so bad - maybe over confident following our last two games, who knows but roll on next season because our league campaign for this season is OVER.

Wayne Bridge???

Superb result lads - what a fine team AP has assembled. Beaten the leaders away. Spanked 2 of our play off rivals. 3 wins out of 4 3 clean sheets from 4. Fantastic reading.

7 points from 9 (ok maybe not the way we thought we may have got them but approaching March and still unbeaten in 2010 (in league of course). Still a big ask for play offs but who knows???

Burnley 1 v Skates 2 bbbbbbbbbbooooooooooooooooooooo

Brighton winning at Leeds
-
We were playing better football when winning 3-1 and yet we have spent money but don't seem any better.........go figure.
-
Still unbeaten in 2010, however thrown away a lead ONCE again. Lost count the times this has happened this season!!!!!!

Saints V Stockport County - Half Time & 2nd Half Chat

sarfend 2-2 -
My frustration comes from the matches (like tonight) where we take the lead but cannot hold onto it - we nearly ending up drawing v Ipswich and we can't even score in injury time and win (v Millwall). This is still a problem v Brentford x 2/Millwall/Birmingham etc etc.
-
the ref will have something (EVERYTHING) to do with it if it does
-
I questioned this ref at HT and ther you go he is a homer EVERY decision going for MK - we should of had at least 3 pens 1st half they fould and we get 2 booked 2nd half we foul and get a player sent off - how does that add up??????????

Wimbledon vs Saints - First Half & Half-Time Chat
sfc6mufc3 replied to Arizona's topic in The Saints
struggle with some of the decisions should have had a corner - not given should have had a pen - not given they do a tackle from behind and WE get 2 booked ............and Ince is moaning at the officials???????????? -
Colchester are very strong at home this season - only Leeds have beaten them so bear that in mind and without the points deduction we would be top 6 (before today so don't get too down).

Saints 3-0 Tranmere Rovers: Post Match Reaction
sfc6mufc3 replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
Really no REALLY well done lads, great result today against another team in form (although in the bottom three). Our hardest test of the season next week and THIS match will sure how far we have come under AP. I'd settle for a point now with a win against Exeter before a tough match against Colchester to come. Sounds like Lambert scored a screamer and IS the country's top goal scorer across all 4 leagues no? Looking at the table we are the second highest scoring team AWAY from home so that is something to take inot next week. Great run...........good times again. -
forgot the table updates based on current scores so still in bottom 4 - oh well won't be long
-
agreed - thought this was a banana skin tonight but great win - again 3-1 climb out of the bottom 4 and higher as a result
-
Can't help feeling a little down - lost to Brighton and then squander a lead twice and still in the relegation zone. Obviously I can see we are making progress and our recent run has been great - didn't expect us to bt Oldham, Southend, Bristol Rovers and MK Dons. just hope we aren't going back to the form of the start of the season. Bet we get beat on Tuesday - got a bad feeling.
-
Lets face it we were never going to go the rest of the season unbeaten but I expected our next defeat to be away to Leeds not at home to Brighton - this is the worst result since losing to Swindon 1-0 imo. I hope they bounce back and start another run but Norwich will be tough.
-
Great win - a win is a win in FA cup no matter if you win 10-0 or 1-0, but it's worrying to nearly let them back in. Through to next round (draw is on Sunday). Looking forward to game v Charlton on box in week - just a Blackburn win tomorrow and it's all good.
-
Good fight back - sounded like we deserved a draw on chances alone. Nice to turn the tables and see other teams (usually us) squander a lead Keeps the run going and a win v Brighton puts us closer to safety.
