Or if United had moved on that diving, cheating, one-trick lightweight show pony Ronaldo (FAKE Ronaldo lolz!) after his very underwhelming first season. Turns out Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger know more about football than Dune. Who'd have thought it?

How Do You About One, Just One, Lawrie Mac 'Sexy' Style Signing
stu0x replied to TijuanaTim's topic in The Saints
I would be gutted if we signed any of the three players you named, and can only assume you haven't watched any of them play recently. If the point you are making is that you'd like to see a 'marquee' signing, the players we are apparently legitimately interested in are arguably far more noteworthy than the likes of Charlie 'The Human Ballsack' Adam. -
The Tories have done such a great job with their private sector/public sector rhetoric, they can basically propose whatever they like safe in the knowledge that one group of workers will relish in the discomfort of the others, regardless of the facts that a) each sector *needs* the other to exist and b) it'll be your turn next. Surely what we should actually be focusing on, is that on the same day the latest swathe of cuts is announced, which will affect millions and save a total of 11billion, the Tories quietly announce that the budget of HS2 has increased by 10billion. So millions of people's lives will be made harder, and any benefit is instantly wiped out in the name of getting you to Birmingham 20 minutes faster. And this is purely the increase to the budget. And before a single metre of track has been laid. But hey, forget about that, let's ***** and moan because someone else gets a better pension. Because thats what's important.

Money talks, and Cagliari have none. If we don't sign him, it won't be because they've decided they aren't selling him. All that chat is for the same two reasons as always; to bump the asking price up, and to appease the fans.

Unfortunately for you, Burley is no longer our manager

Except he was found not guilty, so it's libel, even if you'd spelt 'allegedly' correctly

The first "proper" pre-season game predicion sweepstake thread

if its Salzburg, you can bet on a flood of 'ITKers' posting about how it's proof of our impending sponsorship/takeover by Red Bull -
Least convincing hoax since Rickie Lambert got his New Zealand call up

Holy crap we signed Kanye?

Last season we fielded more British players in our matchday squad than most of the rest of the league. So if cosmopolitan signings are the plan for world domination, our plan is going worse than almost every other club in the division.

His stats say it all really. No clean sheets. No goals. No assists. No league starts. No interceptions. Rubbish.

Serves him right for making incredibly successful tv programmes that earn him a fortune? Yeah, that'll teach him

Aboucherouane. Arguably our first YouTube player, scored a ridiculous goal from the right wing where he juggled it right foot, left foot, and then volleyed in with the right. On the basis of those 3 seconds of footage, he was a legend in the making. IIRC he actually signed, but we failed to get a work permit for him, which was obviously because we aren't Man United and not because those three seconds were an aberration in the career of a not-very-good player

Have you seen Pitt and Jolie's children (the ones they actually produced rather than purchased)? They look like two bags of spanners.

It seems like an utterly perverse interpretation of the rules. The SFC academy is Cat 1. That is down to the facilities, level of coaching, etc. The geographical location of the academy is (quite rightly) not a criteria. So if the Bath centre offers the same level of support as Staplewood, but the only difference is its physical location, surely it is a Cat 1 facility? And therefore you would want to drive youngsters towards it instead of away from it?

Very good. If you're looking for a family estate in that price bracket (ie sub 'prestige') and you don't want to drive a Mondeo, it's an excellent choice. The only car I'd have over one would be a facelift Octavia Estate, but it will depend on what year/price you're looking at as to whether that is an option.

Verbal I don't know why you bother to be honest. He's not interested in anything approaching rational, logical or scientific argument. I agree with Smirking_Saint's post a while back - I actually feel sorry for someone so absorbed in paranoia they not only come up with this crap in the first place, but then blindly cling to it even when it's thoroughly debunked. You're going to get absolutely nowhere.
