there are many PL clubs also trying to find central defenders at the moment so its not gonna be easy. Or cheap. It frustrates me that Jos is still in the squad and are first backup in the centre. Cause even if we hang on to DL now, then its only time before he's on his way. We have to get a CB before the season starts. Do we have a left back? ie one whose played there at PL level. And not a right back just moved sideways.

A huge youth tournament with 1600 teams representing the whole world. Great spectacle. Do they any connections with SFC academy? Anyone on here follow this team?

agree about Lallana could struggle at LFC. Saints have been obviously playing a certain system with very specific positions. These suited our players perfectly and made the whole country look up and admire. Change the system and roles around and you'll start to see if it was the players that were excelling or maybe they were just perfectly suited to The Southampton Way. Time will tell. Scousers will soon find out that Lallana is just an ordinary winger. Not a world class player like last season where our system got him playing to his strengths. Same with Lambo. Personally i dont hate either of them. Just ****ed off with the situation. Again!

what really frustrates me , not that we're selling our best players as that has always happened, but the fact that we were playing fantastic football the way it should be played. Good controlled entertaining football and giving the so-called big teams a proper match. I'm really gonna miss this , unless Ronald can keep it all going in the same direction. tricky as i think NC was the driving force behind "the southamptoon way". be sure to stay in a Riad in town. Avoid hotels outside of the town. Plenty of fantastic old places queezed into the ancient chaotic lanes. Once inside an oasis of harmany opens up before you. Breakfast on the roof of the riads in the sun was the perfect start to the day. Can recommend the walk from Djemaa El-Fna to Kashbah through the hundreds of narrow lanes. Dont get lost. Its amazingly difficult to find your way anywhere when off the main streets. Do get lost. Thats when you'll discover some gems.

We are flying over from scandinavia for the man u game , and as were landning in london, then were gonna pop in and give this a visit. Could be a good afternoon out. Anyone any tips about getting down south afterwards?

Normally when we play our possesion style , then its done at pace with lots of movement. We did this yesterday, for the first 20 or so mins. Then after that we got frustrated and had no penetation with our passes. There wasnt the movement or creativity there and the pace was rediculously slow. Made it easy for Cardiff to defend. Yes Jay would have given us some speed up front , but yesterday we did end up fannying about with it too much. Agree that we need a MF that dares to shoot from outside the area. Mix it up a bit. Cork & Morgan dont do shooting. Hmm. An early goal would have changed all that. BuggerMeSideways!
