Thanks folks...some useful stuff there. Where is We have planned the must-do's such as Alcatraz, Yosemite, Monterey & Carmel. Good tips about the Beerbybart.com , Cambria , Hearst Castle. Would love to hop aboard the whale & dolphin boat trip. But is this seasonal? are they hanging about in august? We haven't enough time to go north of SF or down to San Diego. And we will not try and sneak a view of Cameron Diaz's bush (thanks CB Saint). Any tips for LA? Runyon or Griffith parks? Is Sunset Boulevard cool and exciting or a touristy mess? Any tips for Huntington Beach. O and the Hotel California that's been getting great reviews on here. Apparently a lovely place, even got mirrors on the ceiling, plenty of wine and pink champers. Unfortunately it was full.

For me hols me and the family are travelling through California this summer. Highway 1 and all that jazz. So what I'm after has anyone got any decent recommendations for places to visit, to eat and drink, etc. that are different from the usual touristy must-do lists. Do we have any california saints that have insider tips on San Francisco, LA and there between? All good tips appreciated.

all depends on whether the boys are up for it or not. Can Ronald motivate a tiring squad? I do reckon so. hope they're not planning their hols or getting their flip-flops on yet. Sunderland are sh1te. Villa and Leicester will be tougher than normal. City will get a late winner, probably. Minimum 5 points.

Will they be calling us northern scum? I am also delighted for them. Much rather the Cherries than a team from some midlands or northern dump. Good luck to 'em. Have had many summer days down there. Sandbanks is the b011ocks. For being a coastal town its a huge shame soton has no proper beach. When i say spent at the seaside what i really mean is most the day on the A31.

Did the usual lagers when i started drinking. The likes of Fosters, Carlsberg. I realise now they are just fizzy weak drinks. Abroad, the lagers are stronger and generally have more taste. Have moved on to bottled IPAs nowdays. Theres so many different brewers and bottles out there, its exciting. Loads of local micro-breweries getting in the market. Amazingly some great local beers from new swedish breweries. Who would of thought so?

I wonder if Lovrens daughter has a new "Wheres my daddy" sign ready to hold up in the VIP suite at Wembley? And will Mrs.Lovren spread it all over Twitter. Oh please please

Dont expect to see Mr.O'Shea out on the town in the near future. What a comedy of errors. Good comment on MOTD. Leave at full-time to avoid the traffic!

That'll do for me. Spoke to a first team player under Arry. He Said it was a joke. Just did 5-a-sides most days training. No tactical briefings before any games. Someone should put him down.

Adkins on SSN this morning talking Saints and UCL/PL title

mine was the year in the championship.....sheer utter enjoyment from day one. Never thought we would hold our own like we are doing after two quick promotions. Thanks Nige. -
Now lets put that hockey training into good practice......

I've had Absolute Radio on on a fair bit. Sat mornings with Frank Skinner is a must. Plenty of good ol' rock'n'roll and indie from days gone by. Radio 2 has its moments. Too many road reports for my liking. Not so interesting to us abroad. Any other stations with interesting hosts? Anyone out there worth listening to?

sitting here going through loads of radio stations on the WWW what radio station do you listen to during the day? Most importantly, what one is worth having on at the workplace while counting down the hours?

Post-Match Reaction: Queens Park Rangers 0-1 SAINTS
svetigpung replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
my stream packed up just as QPR equalised at the very end. What utter confusion. In panic i had to check out several websites. Took a few minutes but huge relief. What a finish to a pretty poor game. Great to see Morgan back. he offers so much more to the team with his passing game. Always wanting the ball...always makes the calm sensible pass, Gets the ball rolling. Priceless. Enjoy your saturday evening folks!!! -
Just blame her for wetting the bed when she wakes up...the stupid blint!

If anyone took over a well performing team that were on a high then it was Poch. Adkins had done all of the hard work (after Pardew had started it off) and got the success and teams spirit in place. Poch walked into a team that had just drawn away at Chelsea and were well and truly on the up. Now he's taken over a team that finished 6:th last season. #PlonkerPoch

if you're gonna take a backpack into the ground , make sure that you have shaved (no Tim Howard beards) and are not wearing a long white tunic. It will make for a more relaxing experience for all those around you. And definitely NO effing selfie stick!

just read through that.....F##k me he is one huge c##t when he came we were leaking goals, Shaw and Lallana wern't playing, Ron got to take over a winning team, had to start from zero. Argghhh. And considering spurs finished above us in the league last season. what a bellend! makes me hate him even more now

I say this in every game we play. We are very much a team that can play when were leading. We just tighten up on defence. But a goal behind feels like a huge upphill task ahead of us. Lets hope Elia gets an eary one then.

Saints Sign Filip Djuricic on loan from Benfica
svetigpung replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
He got no contract because as we all know , Sir Alex lacks Koemans motivational skills.
