my new local team is IFK Gothenburg. I follow them, get to a few home games and occasionally an away weekend. Not the same thing though, not the passion.

Well this thread is well lively ... keep it going guys My input on the subject , after a week in California. Really nice people, very friendly, very service-minded. No trouble or guns spotted yet. Plenty of sirens every night. Been through some proper ****ty (redneck) towns, like Merced. What a dump. Loads of homeless in every park in every town. Trump seems to be the next president. Obama is not a popular dude. Plenty of mexicans. Petrol cheap, chrisps expensive. And spoke to Pedro of FCBarca in Victoria Secrets. He was shopping, i was just hanging around, as you do!

time to get some serious planning in here for the opening games in august , i will be in LA , with the family. Staying by Hollywood Boulevard. so to all saints in california , where is the best place (near Hollywood) to watch the games live? will they show the Europa league matches? anyone know if theres a sports bar in Joshua national Park?

This. Our midfield must start putting away their chances. Apart fron Mané, we suffer through the numerous misses by Misters Davis and WardProuse. Especially as two DM dont contribute much either. Hope they put in some shooting practice during the summer. And i dont mean dead-balls outside the area, but simpler side-footers under pressure.

What worries me more is the lack of goals scored in the last two matches.

He has been fantastic for us during our rise from L1. However i can see him failing at ManU. Not on his ability but due to the mess the club is in at the moment. That would make me chuckle. Not to forget, he has one hell of a job to do there...trying to protect Jones and Smalling and Evans while Rooney's shouting his wig off.

Just hope it all goes titsup if he goes to them. Seriously hate the scousers nowdays.

well David , a little but so important correction to your half time report. Our old friend Anders , at 39 , is yes still playing BUT, and this is a huge but , he's playing at centre-back for Elfsborg. And doing ok by all accounts. Bet there's no one on here that could ever have imagined that happening. Gothenburg are top of the table but fan knows how. They are playing really average but grabbing some fortunate late goals.
