  1. Its a football forum ffs. What do you think peopkle should print? Should everyone just say how sad it is. Cause it is. Obvious. Wooping interesting forum this would be then. If someone wants to put a one-liner in then so be it. Its hardly likely that BOB or the family are here , getting themselves wound up. Who makes the rules here anyway? We all do. Deal with it without taking the moral highground. No one here was close to her, except Bearsy that met her once! But she was a celeb that lived her life in the media. No ones said anything that bad anyway.
  2. HaHa who started this amazingly interesting and relevant thread? dipstick!
  3. Haha the old "this is my bus coming trick" any bus , just get me outta t'bloody busstop.
  4. This is easter weekend so i guess we should sell out. Shame it was Villa as i was over for this last season. Spent the night in Brum where two murders in the city centre had just been commited. Nice place! Found a fantastic Fullers pub there. The Old Joint Stock. Worth a trip just for that.
  5. No no no. Has to be Clyne at RB. Johnson is pants. and Cork at CM. IMO he is better than Henderson who happens to find himself in the middle of a decent set-up. He is also pants and soon this will be seen by all. So let them have Gerrard and Sturridge , and he's only good if Suarez happens to be pulling all the strings around him. So Rodriguez it is up front then. Have i missed one? Kelvin in-between the sticks ?
  6. How "close" was Courtney Love then? Seriously surprised no major news media has picked up on this. They follow every other "unbelievable" suggestion. Anything on Chinese news?
  7. there are too many incidents that dont add up BUT this sure sounds a real possibility that explains many of the strange and unanswered happenings of the flight. this will have huge political and international consequences.
  8. Complete b0ll0x. Check out Irelands history and you'll see the brits were always the occupying force. Both in the south until they reteated into northern ireland. A semi-withdrawal. Tell me when the brits were welcome in Ireland? Do you honestly believe what your saying?
  9. oh no , please don't bore me Barry. and I know the general history of Eire. Bur surely they are both the result of old empires refusing to let go. The army is being used to protect , to influence , to govern what used to belong to the nation. I see no difference.
  10. Barry , what is the reason for us being in N.Ireland ? Officially its to protect the protestants that were under attack from the naughty irish catholics. The protestants that we put in ireland in the first place. Seems exactly the same scenario to me as that in Crimea now. Or how do you see it different?
  11. should GB do something ? absolutely NO we didn't do such a top job in northern Ireland , where we were "protecting" our peoples. what would we have said to Russia if they had protested our military involvement in another country? fotget WWII , this is a more relevant comparison
  12. http://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/fotboll/internationell/england/article18568101.ab read in the paper today that Sam Gallagher can be the next Zlatan Abrahimovic , according to José Fonte. i dont think so. maybe the next ???? Beattie , Shearer , Bendtner http://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/fotboll/internationell/england/article18568101.ab
  13. Courtney's comment "I am no expert but...". Was this line really needed? wouldn't it be hilarious though if Courtney Love was spot on and they found the plane lying there. bet you the malays have sent out a boat to this area just to make sure. Otherwise it would be pretty embarressing if true. All i'm waiting for now is a second opinion from Keith Chegwin and Pete Doherty. Should be solved then!
  14. what really annoys me is how a city built on its maritime history has hardly any contact with the water. FFS the place is surrounded by water and if you want to visit the sea you have to drive over 30 minutes along the coast. Its hardly because of all the harbour activity nowdays. You would of thought with a little planning and investment it could be a great attraction for the city, with parks, resturants and walkways. The whole area at the moment is a discrace. Do the ferries to the IOW have to go from there? Everyone takes the car anyway.
  15. Now i've got my ticket in the post for this one. The home game v Spurs was my first this season....and had the pleasure of Fox , Jos and Gazzingas company. All three in the starting line-up ffs. Even with those in the team we gave them a good match BUT it was not a relaxing enjoyable match. This time i'm hoping for a great day out and at least some better defending. Then Lovren goes and gets injured. Tell me it's not serious.
  16. reckan its the same for me NS. Theres no way life in Hampshire can come close to the standard of living were experiencing in scandonavia. And i'm talking about the quality of live; not what you earn. IF i moved back (the wife and kids would be waving me goodbye) then anywhere along the south coast really. Avoiding main towns that is. they all seem to offer the same sh1t nowdays. There are some great villages all around the south but then again if you want to be close to the sea then were talking serious cash. Got a mate who moved to swindon for his work. Poor b4stard.
  17. But you have to admit southampton city centre is a bit of a depressing dump. Not visited Liverpool since the eighties so no comparison there. Other towns that i've lived in and stayed in offer so much more. IMO
  18. Happy as long. as QPR miss out on promotion. Would welcome Adkins & Reading a return. Was hoping for West Hoof to go down. Seems unlively now. Unfortunately Sunderland will probably survive. Cardiff deserve nothing and will go down. Dont really care. I now just hope it gets really tight down there and all ten teams are involved and ****ting themselves.
  19. People onboard with stolen passports. Doesn't fare well. This is the start of one big story building here. Malaysia and Indonesia , two big muslim countries. Hmm.
  20. No Jos! probably the only game he is possibly suited till
  21. names like Milner , Jones , Cleverly , Henderson and Glen bl00dy Johnsson. FFS were gonna be the laughing stock at the WC if these are the best we can send. Lampard and Cole are past it. Gerrards ok but on his last legs. Carricks dross. Out with the old (who never performed when young!) and in with a bit of yoof. and Sturridge will not be a prolific striker at international level.
  22. never minded Wham before but really hate them with BFS in charge shame they've won a few recently as would love to see them & BFS relegated even more reason I really want a win on saturday gonna be a bloody tough game of rugby up there though
  23. Living abroad makes the TSW site a must visit for much information over the years. There was a lot more humour on the site back in the good old days. I do miss having a jolly read on here. That f00k for the likes of Bearsy and his input. Keep it going Mr.Bear.
  24. Easy win in the end after an awful first 45. First half - thought Fonte played really well. Wanyama was really ****-poor, completely off the pace, no movement. Second half - great to see Cork back on. Fantastic all round performance. really enjoyable day out by the Thames.
  25. great weekend over in Blighty. London matches are our "home" matches travelling wise. Always a good day at Fulham. Easy to get tickets well in advance. Like the area around the ground. No hassle from anyone. Stayed in hammersmith. Nice walk along the Thames to Putney and the Temperence Pub. Found some great pubs in Hammersmith. Sitting outdoors in the sun for sunday lunch & beers on the banks of the river. Hope Fulham scrape by , for this reason. 3 points and a great weekend. Back to the snow in sweden now.
