  1. The way I see it (and unfortunately I did see it) we have three major problems 1 - Our midfield passes to our defence 80% of the time they have the ball 2 - our defence is rubbish so they end up hoofing it 3 - once hoofed we either lose it or go through the same process Wayne Thomas and Lancashire are the worst defensive pairing I have honestly ever seen in a saints shirt... relegation battle starts on Saturday against a Brentford team that will be confident after beating Norwich and if we play anything like last night will clearly come and do us over... people still talking of the playoffs are laughable....
  2. Exclusive with MLT top of the hour SSN... saying everything we already know looking at a laptop... says that if the FL can work out 'the issues' MLT will be at his desk within hours...
  3. rarely post but this annoys me... How can anyone stick up for a manager that sent the players to give a gutless performance(s) ie Sheff Wed....team fighting for thier lives? pah it and he was PATHETIC he was rubbish he took us down to the third tier of football - take the fake tan and the sweet talk with you wotte....
  4. anything over 17,000 is not a joke. People have to realise many prem clubs get 17k ave support week in week out - ie bolton blackburn wigan, skates? wolves had their highest gate of the season on friday against us and it was just over 24k - says a lot?...they have been top all season anyone that went to brum will know they're numbers and atmosphere was terrible to say the least our support is good and could be exceptional for league 1/championship if the right buyer is found - just becuase people arnt turning up on the apathy of the most terrible season in the clubs history means nothing - any serious investor will realise this and lets face it its not like over 20k are going to be turning up week in week out next season.. the plea to give money to the club is also sickening and i know has put a lot of people off...and who can blame them - watching an old lady give a hard earned £500 to the club and worse over seeing the club accept it makes you question what is going on when some of the most awful players that have ever put on the saints shirt will be spending it on booze in the sun in about 4 weeks time not giving a flying fook.... dont blame people for not turning up blame the club for imploading..
  5. Mr G Lowe is now chairman of the football club... signed it over to his brother to get it back cheap? The whole thing is a disgrace - get rid of them all start next season on an equal footing in league 2 and start again.... The thing that really fooks me off is that if this was west ham or spurs the fa would already be making their excuses...'its too near the end of the season to deduct them points'....but with us like swindon they will take pleasure in making an 'example' the whole thing is corrupt - hence the reason we are in this postion - redknapp making money on the exchanges then realising he had ruined his rep so fooked back off - disgrace the whole thing I might head up the city today and see how many of the protestors are free on saturday...lets face it most of them dont need an excuse..
  6. Yeah to be fair I see where you're comming from fella...I care just as much as someone else but we're very close to being a laughing stock right now and a protest of 50 people walking somewhere could tip the boat....I will be protesting in one form or another and will be travling to make the effort....Dont get me wrong I'm not having a go at people trying to make something happen and I dont doubt that it is difficlut to arrange something that will have the 'right' effect we're all looking for... Just looking at different points of view really... With Jan going today I think Im as confused as anyone else...probably just a tactic to try and calm down the current state of mutiny..... I still stand by the fact that inless anyone knows or can get their hands on the money which will get rid of Lowe - We stand no chance without some sort of real action that haults games or social activity which will really make the news and make Wrupert look silly... I think Ill just wait and see what happens....
  7. I agree something needs to be done - I also agree we shouldnt get on the players backs although its hard not to at low times like this - Wes Tender may remember I had a problem with his negative attitude last season but to be fair I think he was just feeling the pain one kick in the balls before me and in hindsight I apologise. However I also agree with Stu - This demo will go one of two ways Either pitter out into a nothing as 40 people get flimed signing 'I'm Southampton till I die' (A skate song) or The only real way it will actually get any mass media attention is if it kicks off....Im sorry but that is it...no one up North cares about saints fans crying into there 1997 replica home shirt on the way down to the ground - They might however have a glance at headlines of violent protests against the current Southampton board with 50 arrests made...and lets face it this is also unlikely to happen unless the 2500 swansea decide to come and join in... For that reason I cant see how a demonstration can be effective without being born out of pure frustration and be spontanious where people who care so much do things they usually wouldnt...ie doncaster which I cant comment on as I wasnt there but doesnt seem to have changed much upstairs... I am not encouraging violent protests nor am I encouraging non violent ones - I just dont think it will do much unless there something 'out of the ordinary' was to occur rather than a planned walking bus of fans to the stadium... Just my thoughts take them with a pinch of salt -
  8. come for the weather youve only come for the weather glen hoddle is illegitimate he aint got no birth certificate he's got aids and cant get rid of it he's a judas bastard..... died in a car crash he should have diead in a car crash
  9. People seem to be forgetting that last season our record against the teams in the top 6 at home was impressive considering our final position... Beat West Brom,, Stoke, Bristol City, thrashed Hull only lost to watford and crystal palace...one of which was first game of the season the other new years day in which the our players were clearly hung over.... Teams like birmingham represent our best chance of getting 3 points at home this season becuase they come out and attack leaving them open at the back...as soon as they went 2-1 up and shut up shop we had nothing...we looked terrible like a bunch of 5 year old school children playing against professionals (not far from the truth)...so therefore although the performance wasnt terrible the result was and we all know what really counts... Teams like Blackpool will come shut up shop go for the 0-0 but happily take a bustling 1-0 on the brake or set-piece...aided by a half shut/empty stadium and general lack confidence...we seem to have one formation and one idea and if it doesnt work well thats it... However i feel there will be a possibilty of picking more points up away from home on the counter - provided we have some defenders still playing for us... not very interesting but thats how I see it so far - 2pence worth and all that
