Woah. Gasmi has a broken foot which will heal in four weeks or so, not a wooden leg. If we had needed to sign Schneiderlin but he was injured for four weeks nobody would have minded. If Berbatov breaks his metartarsal tonight, Man City and United would still want him. Injuries happen, if every player to get an injury was "injury prone" then this would apply to every single Premiership footballer. IMO muscle strains ie hamstring, groin etc indiate more injury prone players ie Owen, Woodgate, Kewell. Chill out! Saints fans really are a depressing bunch at times.

Well he personally requested to leave in January and in the pre season games he played he didnt seem to give a ****. If you want to believe otherwise then do, but I quietly confident Im right! Would much rather keep Euell than Skacel, he at least always gives 100%.

Skacel doesnt want to play for us and will probably be gone by midnight tonight, or shortly afterwards somewhere on loan. Also, he is a left midfielder/forward so why would you play him in centre midfield? (Yet people moan about others in their wrong positions).

Soon we will pick up a few injuries and suspensions so its good to build up a strong squad. Lets give the lad a chance before judging him. Its hardly a big outlay and he is on low wages so not really a risk.

I doubt it would influence it as Pulis has been in the pipeline for ages as has Gasmi so shouldnt make a difference.

On a free transfer and a two year deal you can't complain. He will add to the squad, and lets just give him a chance to show what he can do before we write him off.

Likewise what will happen with Pulis and Gasmi?

The reality of the situation is that we are a Championship team, and he will be eventually a Premiership player. The only way he, or any other of our best players will stay for the duration of their contract is if he get promoted in the next two seasons. Simple as.

Yeah lets not write him off before he has played for us. Plenty of players in the past have seemed like crap signings and have played well for us...Marsden, Crouch etc
