  1. Perhaps this Goon's damage has been done...
  2. Yeah we can still get promoted this season...COYR
  3. Would be reassuring to hear of Pinnacles plans if the appeal is indeed a no-go.
  4. If this has anything to do with Jackson's plans then lets hope it never comes to anything. What a load of crap.
  5. Spot on. He is trying to ruin the Pinnacle bid. The guy is a buffoon.
  6. Jackson is a time waster and is all talk (for the 13457364th time)
  7. Well the FL meeting will be held tomorrow. Assuming as TL expects, the "issue" to be sorted out, could the takeover be completed tomorrow? In theory it could as it was close to being sealed on Friday but for the FL issue. If not tomorrow then how long? I am 100% confident in TL and his team and know they are as frustrated as we are that it hasn't been completed as yet. In addition, the longer is goes on the more drivel we have to listen to from those suggesting Pinnacle won't conclude the deal or Jackson telling everyone more of his "Once upon a time" stories. This rubbish only serves to disrupt and is potentially damaging, especially for a so-called Saints "fan" who acts as anything but. The players go also back to pre-season training tomorrow. Wotte is unsettled, who can blame him. Reports suggest he may have signed for the Egyptian team, although he said otherwise. It is however, unlikely he will remain at SMS much longer. MLT/Pinnacle clearly have people in mind on the coaching front (Dowie, Keegan, Tisdale etc) and really need to impliment things soon. If Wotte was to leave then we could be left with no staff almost, not a good start to preseason. Then there are the contract talks of Kelvin Davis, who would be a great first signing for the new owners. He seems to want to stay but nothing can be sorted till Pinnacle take charge. So really time is of the essence, even more so now than a few weeks back. Norwich have already signed 3 or 4 players have our squad has been changed (I can't say weakened) with the news that Euell has probably decided to leave. We can't really afford much more of a delay, the first pre-season match is not too far away. So lets hope the FL don't cause any more problems than they already have and we can thank Tony and MLT and Mr X, get our club back, get a decent manager, sell loads of season tickets and start planning for a successful season! So much to do and so little time...
  8. That may not tell the full story. If I were buying SFC I would explore all areas that would be advantageous. Lets just give Tony Lynam a chance to show he can deliver on his promises, which Im sure he can. MLT wouldnt have got involved if the bid wasnt good for the club. Sometimes its as if people want things to fail, or maybe want others to succeed at Pinnacle's expense!
  9. Forget the Swiss "bid", Pinnacle will come through, and they have the best interests of the club at heart.
  10. I am sure that Tony and his colleagues will come through for us, they have put in so much work and will just be trying to ensure that everything concerning the deal is best for Saints before completing it. Have faith! They want what is best for the club.
  11. IMO Jackson would be on a par with a Lowe return. He guy is not suitable in any way! And I don't want Peter Reid as manager.
  12. Thanks Tony, all the fans are in full support of your bid and appreciate all your hard work. Lets get it sorted and then concentrate on the football!
  13. Probably someone crap like Peter Reid! We want Pinnacle!
  14. Near the bottom, right to appeal: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1173127/Southampton-set-appeal-10-point-penalty-consigns-relegation.html
  15. But what if the league just say no "its this deal or no deal" will Pinnacle actually pull out just because they can't appeal? Or are they just trying to get the best deal?
  16. That was just a rerun of what they said before. I think they are just stating that Fry is opening things to other bidders because of the Exc agreement ending. However, if Fry thinks that the FL issue can be resolved then he is unlikely to push other bidders forward too hastily. In theory Pinnacle could take control on Monday, any other party would be weeks away. We havent got that time, the players are back Monday!! Im sure Fry will be working with Pinnacle to solve this hitch as his highest priority.
  17. Fry has commented in the Echo, albeit he hasnt confirmed about whther he is open to offers but it sounds like he is confident Pinnacle can iron out what he described as "a number of very small issues".
  18. Seems plausible.
  19. If the Keegan link was extremely unlikely to come to fruition then you would expect Pinnacle to have properly denied it. Afterall it now gets the hopes of the fans up and if now we got say Ince or Tisdale people would be at least a tad disappointed whereas without KK in the frame they would be ok.
  20. Guess or ITK?
  21. BBC seem lagging behind in this story, basically just going off the photos in the Echo.
  22. And there is also this one: http://www.pinnacleassetmanagement.co.uk/index.htm I don't remember seeing this one before?
  23. Whats the link to the Pinnacle website again?
  24. Any reason for this gut feeling?
