Gradel is good. A quick winger who runs at defenders. Saw a bit of him when on loan at afcb. He scores every so often too!

Lallana and Thomas possibly too -

Rasiak, Saga, ???, ??? -
This isn't a slag off Lallana thread, I think he is a good player but he shouldn't take the corners, they were awful yesterday. Surely Schneiderlin could whip in a great ball or even Lloyd James who has a decent cross? We will never score from them with such poor delivery which is a shame because Lambert is obviously good in the air and Trotman looks a threat.
-
With a proper winger we could have won comfortably. Hammond used the ball well and Trotman defended well. We are seriously lacking in attacking width though and this is now our main problem. Thought Harding was very good and our best player.

Max Gradel would be a great signing. He was excellent for AFCB on loan a couple of years ago and did very well for Leicester last year.
-
Get rid of both 100%.
-
If he does well and he likes playing every week then there is every chance we could sign him in January. Preston wouldn't refuse a good offer IMO and we would be an attractive move if he thinks we are going places. Up to him to show he is good enough now but he sounds promising.
-
Anyone know how long he will be out for? The OS or Pardew has barely mentioned his injury yet he was our best player in pre season!

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/8205277.stm Pardew interview on here saying we will hopefully have a new centre half for Saturday. Also says he is happy with strikers at the moment and will just see what happens with Rasiak and Saga before thinking of getting anyone else in. -
Looks just as much that it needs someone in there to organize things at set pieces.
-
This is the absolute concern area. Pardew knows about this, bloody shame the Jaidi deal didn't work out.
-
Play them then.
-
Clearly don't want to be here, hence not being picked and the murmurs they are waiting to leave. Well get ****ing rid of them then if they want to go. And if they want to/will be staying beyond Sept 1st play them. If they go, bring in a pacy striker who can combine with Lambert and trouble defences. This situation needs to be sorted one way or the other. We are losing at places like Swindon with international strikers warming the bench. Personally I hope they both go and we can bring in 2 strikers who are a bit different to what we have but something needs to be sorted with these two so Lambert can start forming a partnership with someone.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/article6798837.ece There is another of these web-chats tomorrow at 1pm. Maybe someone wants to ask who we are apparantly interested in.

Exactly and the new owners etc know this.Any appointment would be sensible and with clear and defined roles. So far they have made ultimately fantastic decisions so its hard to see any chance of them totally mucking up on this. When this works well it would be a good structure. Pardew said previously he is fed up of dealing with agents all the time and wants to be on the training ground. This structure done properly would allow him to focus on this whilst still deciding who comes in and out!
-
Jaidi started Brums last two matches so wasn't injured at the end and I believe played about 30times for them last season. Would be an awesome signing.
-
Not bad, they will play reserves probably so could be winnable. At least we are at home.
-
Totally agree but the BBC and the OS are separate. They must be, as someone else suggested, trying to keep each others costs down which is fine. Its a silly thing to moan about but its just nice to read/here fresh stuff. At least under Lowe we had a thriving radio station that was the envy of everyone, not to mention the catering;)
-
Not really but would be nice to read new, exclusive things on there from time to time.
-
In Jermaine Wright Out Lazy OS writers who are too scared to phone the Manager!
-
But they don't seem to have any quotes from him unless its from Solent. Nothing about lambert until was also on Solent, still nothing on Mills injury really. Pretty poor IMO.

Christansen ripped our reserves apart a while back. Remember people on here saying he looked very good.
