I would say he is just trying to be professional. In a World Cup year he will not be wanting to play in League One. He just won't keep getting picked by Poland. Assuming he stays he will only want to leave in Jan so IMO if we can find a suitable replacement it would be better for all parties if he leaves.
-
I would settle for that definately.

So the window closes on Tuesday at 5pm. what can we realistically expect? OUT Saga if anyone wants him and is willing to pay his wages Schneiderlin if someone in Prem or CCC (or abroad) comes in with a very good offer. Some young players (likes of White I reckon) out on loan to gain experience. Probably no other departures unless someone makes a move for someone like Gillett who is obviously not favoured by Pardew. Adam Lallana looks set to stay, unless of course a very good offer comes in for him, and he wants to leave. It seems Liverpool's move to replace Xavi Alonso with Paul Wotton has broken down over the players wage demends so he looks to be staying at SMS. IN A pacy right winger, Gradel has been mentioned, although to date transfers in havent been rumoured until they happen so who knows. (As an aside, AFC Bournemouth's pacy right winger Liam Feeney looks a very good prospect and would be very cheap). A striker regardless of whther Saga goes or not. If he does and we get one in, we could always get a loan player in if either new boy, Pato or Lambert gets injured. Tom Craddock has been mentioned, but price Luton are asking for is rumoured to be high. As already mentioned, there could be a suprise, or we might get nobody in and rely on loans. The Radhi Jaidi rumour won't go away and he would be a great signing for any L1 team. He was at the Birmingham game, adding credence to this and of course as he is a free agent could be signed at any time, regardless of the transfer window. Should be an interesting few days....

We are clearly rebuilding the club. You wouldn't have posted this if Davis had saved their pen and we won so just shows what a knee jerk reaction it is. Yes we havent started brilliantly but we will improve. Our pre season was so disrupted. If we are still minus points in a month time come and repeat this but for the moment it is crap. Get out and do something tonight to cheer yourself up.
-
You are boring mate. We have 41 league games left. We will move up the league.
-
I think we bottomed out at the Swindon game as we have been steadily improving since then. Later in the season we may well win 5, 6, 7 in a row, its perfectly possible. We were obviously going to take some time to reach full speed, and we arent there yet. But we are improving the bad points to our game and will continue to do that until we are a very good team at this level.
-
Exactly, people are overeacting. We should have won, created lots of chances and should have taken one or two more. Sounds miles better than the Swindon and Huddersfield games. Seems we are making progress.

Very disappointed and angry with the refs poor decisions. Turned down a blatant pen for us and then gave them a dodgy one. Said one of the Stockport staff said the ref looked like he was going to even it out before he have the pen. He said the players are gutted as he felt we were brilliant today and deserved to win. Said is concerned we have given up lead 3 times this week but today is just very disappointed as we definately deserved to win. Singled out James, Hammond and Trotman as being outstanding and then said he didn't want to answer anymore questions. He seemed very genuionely disappointed which makes a change from some of the Managers we have had recently.
-
And if we had hung on everyone would have said we were great. These things happen. We played well and will start winning soon.
-
Boring.
-
Sounds like we played very well and got stung by a dodgy pen. Nothing Pardew can do about that. At least we are improving game by game, the results will come.
-
James is putting him some heavy tackles, nice to hear! Probably the only time he has really been given a run in his proper position.

He lashed it down the middle, beating the keeper for sheer pace to the delight of the travelling Saints fans? -
Hopefully Solent will ask him after the match today!

Schneiderlin wants to Leave / Rasiak
Saint Charlie replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
+1 He is the most talented player in our squad by far and will go on to have the best career out of anyone in our team. -
Nearly all transfers are called this now. It would be safe to assume the fee was around 250-350k I reckon. Afterall, we really just wanted to get rid of an unmotivated player and his huge (by l1 standard) wages.
-
Billy Sharp?
-
Remember Jaidi is a free agent so can sign at any time.
-
We will have to bring a striker in after losing Rasiak. Need 4 strikers definately.
-
Jaidi would be IMO the best signing we have made this summer. He was a major part of the best defence in the CCC and is a player with significant Prem and International experience. Really hope we get him!
-
Solent said Saints person told them Murty's injury wasnt as bad as feared.
-
Was this on Solent after the game? What else did he say?
-
He played 30 times in l1 last season for the team that won the league. Why slag him off?
