Also we are going to bring in at least a couple more players which changes everything! Harding and Dickson will compete for the position. The one who is doing best will play. Not every player you buy goes straight in the team despite what they might think. Barnard was on the bench lots of times after we signed him. We brought in Van Damme a few years back for 2.5m and he didn't go into the team.

Otsemobor is an average L1 player, lots of pace but zero commitment and pretty poor defending. Glad we will end up with better but he served a brief purpose when we didn't have any right backs.

Byfield was just on Five Live and they asked who the best team in League One he played was. He said Saints and said we were the only team to outplay Walsall twice this season.

And at times he looks very classy and has a great first touch!

Personally I would definately try to sign Waigo. He is the perfect sub, is quite versatile - can play wing or up front, gets in good positions and will only bd better now he is used to English football. The squad seem to love him too!

After today's statement from Nicola Cortese perhaps we will find out soon which out of contract players will be released. A number of first team squad members are in this situation and some like Chris Perry will undoubtedly be thanked and let go. However, it is not so clear cut on others like Lloyd James, or David Connolly (who I would keep for another year). Does anyone have a list of out of contract players, and what decisions would you make?

Cotterill is vastly overrated. Notts Co had a much better squad than everyone else as they got them all on huge wages. To remove Pardew for Cotterill would be a huge insult to AP and Cortese had better have a very good reason if AP goes at all!

AP miles better than Cotterill for ****s sake. Would be made if we did something like that. Hopefully just a Mail vendetta against Cortese!
